Need ideas for new rims

Thought so. I kinda figured you were doing a subaru motor swap. The awd for the Mazda isn't that great. It'd be more of a downgrade than an upgrade ..to me anyways.

Truth for sure. When I looked at doing this, I first started looking at bringing in the mazda awd, but it was pretty apparent it wouldn't be much of an improvement, if at all.

Now the subaru engine, and drivetrain on the otherhand will probably allow me to put down a reliable 300-500 awhp. The only thing remaining to be seen is how much engine I can cram into the mazda. I have 2 blocks we are going to try and fit. The 2.0 should fit no problem. The 2.5l is the ideal engine I want, but doubt it will fit.

I figure for the cost of doing this swap, I would probably spend that much just modifying a new car, so what the hell

There's also somethin that's kinda gnawing at me. Is this a lead up to a big April Fool's joke? LOL

Updates?? teaser pics?? looking forward to living my car porn dreams through you again, while I stay fiscally responsible. Sigh, being a grown-up sucks.

2.5 wont fit.....Pfffttt.....

That means you need a bigger cutting torch.

I say you get a real motor and do an LSX RWD Swap....That would be bad ass...LOL!

Lets just say it looks like either engine will fit. One is gonna be hella tight.

I hear tight is good !!!

Awesome man! I'd do the 2.0L. The JDM sti engine was 2.0L back then and it still put out 300 at the crank..plus you'll have room to work in the engine bay.

Thats the power plant I'm leaning towards. Now I just need to get the time to make it happen. Didn't realize my new job was going to be so busy.
