Lowest Price on MS Coilovers??

What's the cheapest price you guys have all seen the MS Coilovers sold for?

I'm probably going to be picking up a set with part of my tax refund, and I'm wondering who can give me the best deal...

Thanks.

Thanks.

Just to clarify for anyone else who might reply, I'm looking specifically for the Mazdaspeed (branded) Coilover Kit. That's a pretty good price you've got there at PG, from what I've seen elsewhere so far. :)

I see you guys carry the Mazdaspeed (branded) camber arms for the rear, but can you get the SPC adjustable ones? I want the ability to dial in my rear camber...

Thanks.

They are right in there. SPC= eibach.

Ha!

Gotcha.

When I looked through I was scanning for a picture of the actual arms or "SPC" so it didn't exactly jump right out at me.

Thanks.

get the BC's, way cheaper and they go a lot lower, and are more adjustable. i cannot think of anything bad to say about them.

I'd rather pay for the engineering behind the MS Coilovers, plus I'm not looking for low.

The BCs are not really more adjustable in the most important area, which is damping. If I understand correctly, they don't have separate rebound and compression adjustments. Also, I'm pretty sure the BC setup's spring rate ratio moves even further into the direction of front bias, which is not the direction I want to go.

I'm looking for performance/quality, and it looks to me like the Mazdaspeed branded KW V3s are my best bet so far...

just installed my mazdaspeed coilovers and its fantastic. I picked the mazdaspeed over the BCs. Paid about 500 bucks more but I think its worth it.

what about H&R coilovers?

Honestly, I've thought about them.

The thing is, I think they might be a bit more mild than I'm looking for in the area of spring rates (though it's almost impossible to know since they don't disclose their rates :(). Also, they are non-adjustable in the damping dept, which is something that I'd like to have the ability to do if I'm going to fork over more than $1K for my suspension...It's not that H&R doesn't make quality products - I've used their stuff before and been rather pleased - it's just that I don't know that they're going to fit my needs as well as the MS coilovers.

It's always irked me a little bit that H&R refuses to disclose the spring rates of their various setups. I know that exact rates haven't been published for the MS Coilovers either, but at least they say that they're "approximately double" the stock rates, which is better than no info at all...

Any update on the lowest price you have found outside of joining the mazda racing club and getting them for like 1250. I am not a member not do I want to be but am looking to get the best price on MS coilovers as well.

You'd be better off going with the MS Coilovers for track use; H&R's are designed more for street. My guess is they're about 40-60% stiffer than OEM rates. They use Bilstein shocks which is one of the only monotube designs besides Koni I trust.

EDIT: On topic, OnlineMazdaparts.com has the coilovers for 1420 with free shipping.

Yeah, that's sort of been my line of reasoning...although, this car is even fun on-track with the stock suspension, so the H&R setup wouldn't totally preclude me from using it on the track. In fact, part of me wants to keep the car relatively mild so that it doesn't become burdensome on the street - I've been down that road before, and am honestly not too eager to do it again...

Really, it'd be nice if I could sample a car with each setup first. Unfortunately, I don't know anyone locally with either setup, so that doesn't look too likely to happen...I'm leaning toward the MS setup because of the adjustability factor to cost ratio, and because it allows less of a drop (I'm afraid that the H&Rs might not have enough spring rate to handle even the minimum amount of lowering that they provide...)

Hmmm. Decisions, decisions. (shrug)

We do price match. Juts throwing that out there. :) Pm me and I could setup a package deal for you.

I am wondering if the sponsors get these MS Coilovers at the Mazda Motorsports Club Rate of $1250ish and then sell them for a couple hundred higher. Sponsors must get them at a price lower than for what they are selling right?

I would assume no, mazdamotorsports would not allow them to do that. Im sure they would become very suspicious if someone ordered more then one.
