In colorado on my skii trip last year we hit a moose in a huge van. Totaled the van and the moose ran off !!!

Choosing between a moose or tree may be a tougher choice than you think. Europe actually has a quick lane change test that is required for new vehicles. This test is known as the "moose avoidance test" due to the number of people that are killed from hitting a moose (or mooses, whatever damn plural term is used) when they fall into the front windshield of the vehicle due to their height. Talk about a crappy way to go.
