On the Mass Pike this morning

Driving to work thismorning on the mass pike and what pulls up onto the road infront of me? A white MS3! The rear spoiler was the give away. As I passed there was a friendly exchange of waves and thumbs up.

They were rocking the rally armor flaps and I think I noticed yellow fogs.

Was it anyone on this forum?

it's funny you should say this cuz i've been thinking about mazdaspeeds (to include any speed) having a "wave" for themselves. my wife used to have a wrangler, and i used to have a motorcycle, and both vehicles had their own set of "waves" when we crossed paths.

wrangler drivers keep their thumb on the wheel and lift up the other 4 fingers in a "hi-how-are-ya" fashion, and bikers put their left arm down at an angle (i would give kind of a downward peace sign to fellow crotch rockets)

my brother drives an 05 legacy gt with some work done to it and i think the subaru guys have a wave. its like the two fingers up wave/signal.lol like giving the peace sign but not really. almost like they are pointing the fingers also.

here in Atlanta, we throw peace sign similar to what rebin described to fellow mazdaspeed owners. Or if we are on the stop sign, we Rev our engine to show we are fellow speed owner.

on my way up the Jersey Turnpike on Monday afternoon a Black MS3 passed me and I attempted to follow him and possibly say whats up, but his damn windows were tinted pretty dark. I couldn't even see if he waved. he also had no intentions of driving any faster. Then I saw another black one in RT17, but he wasn't paying any attention

I'm aware of the Jeep wave, but haven't seen anything standard from Mazda owners around here. I've gotten a hand wave and a head nod before.
