No offense to anyone but all the marketing for the 1 series has a women behind the wheel and that roof line looks ridiculous, chick car all the way.
370 is hawt and I think everone is underestimating that Genesis coupe. I think when it hits it will be at or over 300hp.

Ya the 135 is sick, I saw one in white with really dark tint in my area, looked really good. Its definitely not a chick car. I basically only define chick cars as the sub 20,000 daddy purchase cars like the tc and the jetta mostly. It does reach into the Lexus RX suvs but that's mostly just mommy-mobiles.
same with the new challenger... The extra weight is just all the bailout money WE are giving them.
135I is mos def a chic car. Its ugly as s*** to. I rather have a dull and boring looking 335I over 135I. More practical and better looking but not a good looking car in my opinion.
On the other hand, I don't know why people keep comparing and talking about how the 370z beats the 335i-its supposed to and they aren't competitors...the 370z and 135I are.

Hmm, but if sales increase for them as a result we could see some support. Also the foreign car market still sells a large number of Hyundais. Regardless, everyone was calling for the auto manufacturers to make a turbo rear wheel, and hyundai was first to answer the call. Hopefully this will light a fire under the asses of the other Japanese makers to produce something better.
Off topic Shaw: did you ever see me driving around Anaheim Hills? I used to live in Peralta Hills, but recently moved.
haha, welcome to the club, my speed3 is for sale right now. I love the speed3, but I'm ready to step it up.
The camaro ss is nice, but it's only on pre-order right now, and by the time they are at the dealerships without the crazy markups will be a year from now. I'm ready to buy something this spring.
So far, the first place car has to be the 370z. Its the best bang for buck and is a pretty serious sports car. Maybe not the absolute fastest in a straight line, but other than that, is one of the best. I hate the forged rims on the 370z, am I the only one that thinks they look like ass?
I see the 135i in person and sat in it. Its just a tiny car, not alot of space, and for that price tag, not worth it in my opinion.
I would be interested in the 3.8 v6 genisus coupe, but only if I could turbo it, the car is a very porky (heavy) car, and only runs a little more than 300 hp.
I really like the shelby gt500 mustang, but I don't understand the price tags on the mustang. Its like 27k for the GT model, and than to step it up, its like 50k for the GT500 model?? Thats a pretty big price gap.
Also, the Pontiac g8 GXP is a force to be reconned with. My only problem with that car is that the interior just looks SOO cheap. If I'm paying 40k for a car, it better look like a nice car inside and out.

The genesis 2.0 turbo is motor is part of the World Engine family, so that means it's cousins with the Evo and the SRT-4 engines. I think there will be plenty of aftermarket for it. If this car is around when I finally pay off my car this will definitely be my next car.

Regarding the 370Z --- Yes, it is fast, but I really don't like the look that much, and I owned a G35 (that I had supercharged), and I have been there and done that.
The G8 GXP has 400HP and weights as much as the Camaro. The Camaro is about 3800 pounds (600 more than my MS3), and is pushing 422 HP. I don't know what others have been reading, but if you do a little research "they" are saying is is going to do a sub 5 (albeit not by much) 0-60. I hardly call that "slow" as someone posted.
I really do like the 335i, but after you tack on just a few options, the car is sitting at $46K. That is 10K more than a top of the line loaded Camaro. Granted... I know they are different styles of cars, but it isn't like the 2SS isn't loaded with some nice technology features as well.
I ruled out the Genesis Coupe because the 3.8 V6 at 306HP just won't motivate it any faster than about a 6 second 0-60. And before any one says it, that is not the most important thing (acceleration) to me. I simply just don't want to step down from my MS3 in that regard. Looks, features, price, reliablity, and practicality are all equally important along with acceleration.

wait for the twin turbo v6 mustang...that should be fun to mod
The only reason I wouldn't consider a car like the Challenger or this car (Reproduction 70's American Muscle) is that they fly in the face of what the car should be. Just like our cars, the old American muscle cars were about cheap speed, not some $40K collector car. I think they ask too much and often get a premium to boot.
My biggest problems with the camaro though
1. Have to wait at least a year to get a half decent deal.
2. That is alot of motor, so it is going to suck up alot of gas.
3. The independant Suspension option on the SS is not cheap, and its a must have or else all that handling stuff you were talking about being important to you, you might as well throw that out the window.
4. Once it's said and done, $35k for the bare bones SS, high insurance, and high gas bill.
I was looking at putting money down to get the SS, but I don't think it's going to be everything that it's hyped up to be.
I've come to learn that the kseries motor in the srt4 has nothing to do with mitsu except for the turbo it uses which is a mitsu turbo. Srt4 motor is all chrysler.
I like the 370z rims. Give the car a drop and they will look even better.
In the short term the 2.0t gen coupe has the leg up but I rather get the v6 in hopes there will be a twin turbo kit that gets released which I know it will
