Does any body know if its coming with a 2.3 or the new 2.5 because i know that the new focus rs is 2.5 turbo and its putting down 301bhp and 324lb ft.

Hearing 2.3, but we should know for sure pretty soon. Geneva Auto show starts on 5th of March and I think detailed information on vehicles becomes available a couple of days early.

Not to be outdone, the new available 2.5L engine on the s trim is now more powerful and smoother than its 2.3L predecessor. The 2.5L engine delivers an impressive 167 horsepower, 168 lb-ft of torque** and a new 6-speed manual transmission or available 5-speed Sport automatic transmission with manual-shift mode.
The i-trim is more fuel efficient earning up to 33 mpg highway, but is nonetheless powerful. Its robust 2.0L engine delivers 148 horsepower, 135 lb-ft of torque** and a choice of either a newly-available

The new Focus RS's engine is ALSO an inline-5.
I'm pretty sure the new MS3 is still going to be a 4-banger...
all the salmen i have talked to says it comes with the same platform as now 2.3L only abit more power

I think if I'd had any say in this design, it would have been to 1) completely re-think the lower air intake, and 2), extend the front fender character lines into the doors so it doesn't end so abrubtly at the fender / door seam. From certain angles, it doesn't even look like the front fenders belong on the car.
Very nice! Thanks for the pics! Actually changes my mind a bit. That smile is much less noticeable with a front license plate on it, which most of us are required to have anyway. Front end still looks a bit squashed top to bottom, mainly where the hood meets the bumper, but those pics are much better than anything I have seen so far. I think the rims have more character than what we currently have, less Match-box esque.
