eibach 25mm spacers installed [pictures]

Looks really good, I heard spacers make the ride quality horrible with a shake.. Is this the case?

Take my advans that are 18x8 +45 with a 5mm spacer will they end up being +40?

i could see how that would be the case if they just slid on to the studs then you threw the wheel on over it, but mine bolt on to the hub, then have new studs to bolt the wheel on to. i think of it like extending the hub, basically.

Yea looks like the Eibach's are hubcentric like wastegate said which should not create any unwanted vibes, those cheap spacers our where all the problems come from.

Thanks wastegate I crunched the numbers with the goggle calculator and it seems like your math is correct :)

I wish they had a 10mm, the 15mm would put me right where you were madvillian but I dont want to put in the work.

You'll see tomorrow exactly what a 18x8 35et wheel looks like on a Speed. I doubt you'll find any studded spacers that are less than 15mm. There wouldn't be room enough for the nuts to be countersunk on the spacer itself. I think as long as you get a hubcentric spacer it would be ok, even if it weren't studded.

I will be on the lookout for the post wastegate, depending on what it looks like it will be 15mm or 5mm spacers.

Here is a member from these forums with 18x8 35et 225/40 tires. His SN is STRICK.

IMO madvillian's car looked rediculous with the Rotas. I was not a fan at all, a little poke is one thing but sitting completely outside the fender is another.

Thanks wastegate

Pilot's car has always done it for me, those mazdaspeed rims are the sex! It might just be the pictures or the rims but it looks like they are sticking out as wide as STRICK's.

i dont think the 5mm's would even be noticeable. do you have any straight shots down the side of your car so i can see where your wheels sit? i love your car and those wheeeels!

the sight of strick's car gives me a boner every time, looks so good.

and my wheels didnt stick out that far. (lol2) they were sick, i loved those wheels, and got a lot of attention from them. good attention that is.

I have a full set of 4 5mm spacers for sale cheap if you want them. I am installing the 25mm spacers Sunday and can ship the 5mm ones to you on Monday (Next monday that is)

Any idea if he had to roll his rear fenders? that looks pretty damn flush right there and about perfect for what I hope to get out of these 25mm spacers. So I am curious if his are rolled

haha theyre gone, it was a saddddd day. your car looks SO good though, i cant get over it. you made a perfect choice
I ordered my 25mm yesterday and they will be in this week and I'll install next Sunday. I wanted to ask on the fender rolling. I've only done it the ghetto way and I was wondering where would be the best place to get a fender roller and how much they run? Can they be rented? Any idea if it's something a regular guy with basic car experience can handle? I dont want to go as gnarley rolled out as yours but I am affraid that mine will probably rub on the reare with the stock 215/45 on stock wheels

Uhateit- Are they the eibach ones?

no, theones I have are the universal 1/4 inch ones. They added a decent spacing to mine. But then again I am on stock wheels and tired so mine showed only a slight bit of push. Seeing your pics the extra 1/4 inch might work out well.

They are actually 1/4-inch not 5mmm, so they are about 6.25mm (not much more than the 5mm) But for just a tad bit more stance these would work.

yeah dont fret about flattening the inside of those fenders, its honestly very easy. just get the fender nice and hot (via hairdryer or heat gun) then tighten the roller down to the hub make your adjustments and roll it back and forth, it will take you 5 minutes a fender.

in that picture i copied into my post about STRICK's car, those rims at the width and stance looks exactly how I assume my stickers will look. But I cannto tell in his pic if hit fenders are rolled. On the rear angled shot it appears that they are not rolled. But Mine is about that low with my springs, and the spacers should push it out about as even with how his are, so if he didnt have to roll the fenders at that drop it should probably be fine for me.

Freakin mazda, wish they made the stance this wide to start out with! These things look ugly all tucked in. I would think that since this is the MAZDASPEED version, I know they upped it to 18's but it would have been nice if they could have made the stock wheels 8 inch wide or at least upped us to 7.5 being that we are the more expensive performance version. It would be sick if stock MS3 wheels were 8 inch like the Rx-8 seeing as how they definately fit in there with people swapping to rx8 wheels all the time. We kinda got jipped on the wheel department :(
