Buying a MS3, good price?

So I finally decided to get me a MS3. Its a red sport with 16 miles on it and sirius installed for 24440 OTD. Seems like a good price to me. Just seeing if you guys think so too.

The red sport model is an 08...I wouldn't pay more than 23000 out the door for an 08 or 08.5.

I just bought an 09 Sport and I paid 20995, 23100 out the door. I live in the SF, CA.

I wouldn't pay any more than 23 OTD now. When I bought my 3 it was an 08 MS3 for 24,... OTD or mine for 23,200 OTD, stupidly I bought mine.

No more than 23K OTD!!! (22.5K is all I would pay but 23K is good)

I got offered an 08.5 sport with 133 for $20k with a free 10yr/100k mile warranty, and $21k for an 08.5 gt with like 28 miles on it with the same free 10yr/100k mile warranty, so I would say talk them down a lot. When I go in at the end of the week, I'll be talkin them down even more than that. I'm trying to reach low $19k, and if I can't get what I want, I'll give them more time, but I've gotten quotes from some other dealers in the area(i have 3 options) around the same price minus the extended warranty. It would be great to have an extended warranty for free and pay $19k for the car, and I believe it's very possible. just keep fighting is my advice.

I do that ALL the time. Did it next to a salesperson on the lot and they asked what I pointed at the sticker laughing my ass off and they left.

its an 08? bc i asked if they ahd any, cause they just opened, and said they only had 09's and they were offering 23k and i said i can do 22k and they came back with 22.5 and i was like i want to do 22k and he was like he cant, that 22.5 was pretty much the cost of the car.

I would say that it's not a good price. I just picked up an '08.5 red Sport for $19,500 before tax, title, and tags, so there are some nice deals out there to be had.

I forgot to mention that I was offered an 08 Red 19995 before tax a month ago. With the 2010 model coming soon you should get a better price now. Seriously don't settle for more than 21500 out the door. I think even 20500 can be mustered.

Yep. Mine is a 2008.5 True Red Mazdaspeed3 Sport. It was actually advertised at that price and the dealer had a couple others at about the same price. In my case, I think they lowered the price for the "end" of the month, which is the 3rd of each month for Mazda, supposedly.

I just paid $22400 OTD for an 09 Speed3. Before taxes the price was $21,700.

No doubt that NYS Taxes are higher than MA. Sales tax here is 5%.

I would say it doesn't help. Sales tax in MD is 6%, I'm guessing LI is 8-10? I still think your "sale" price is not that great, tax-talk aside.
