Let's see those fake HDR's!

^ Thanks Funky. The process really isn't that difficult. I'll start with one pic and take it into PhotoshopCS2, once in there I'll save it as 1. I'll use the same pic that's already open and go to Image > Adjustments > Exposure and either adjust it (just the exposure) up or down. All I do is look and see where I get the best detail for either the higher or lower the exposure. Once I get that set I'll save that as 2. Close that pic out and reopen the original pic you started with. Go back to your exposure adjustment and do the opposite as the previous step. If you adjusted up first, adjust down and vice versa. Save that as your number 3. I've only experimented with three different exposure settings right now, you can use more. I then open up Photomatrix Pro 2.4.1 and go up to HDR at the top and under there will be Generate. Browse to where you saved your pics and pick the three (or however many) you used. Once it generates I go back up to HDR and pick Tone Mapping. Adjust till you see what you like.

Ooh..ok that's what I do already. I thought you were doing something different actually. Thanks for the reply though..someone else will find it very useful I'm sure. hehe.

^ That's an awesome pic. All your photography amazes me, makes me wish I would have got into it years ago.

Ok... my first attempts at hdr anything... pseudo or otherwise lol. Tried to not go off the wall with it. Opinions?
