I wish I had some challenge where I live. The only time someone has tried something was when a 325 pulled up at one light, I didn't even race him but I beat him to the next light and then he started reving the engine....please dude, see ya. It was sweet and then my girlfriend said...wow, you car is fast, that was even better. lol

MS6 here and I hardly ever have this happen to me..I can count on 1 hand actually. A grand prix gtp, an older model lancer, a bmw m6 which I didnt even bother with and u know why, and some old ass acura...pretty boring around here.

My buddy has an STI and he get challenged everytime he goes out, even if its just to get milk at the store lol. He seriously cannot go for a drive w/o some dumbass trying to race him...must be the spoiler

Im with you paradox. I removed the mazdaspeed emblem off the back but I still get nothing . Just one time where a nasty looking civic was giving me the look. Definately not worth burning my clutch. If I were to get rims than I would probably get looked at more often. Sold my GHL catback as well so i look pretty stock.

im not to sure what the CRX happens to have under the hood, but I had a crx that was lowered had rota rims and stealth black. I also had the b18 motor in that b****. I do own a MS3 now, and trust me my CRX would give a stock MS3 a run for its money. Except on highway when we would pull away from the 6th gear lol.

For the most part people leave me alone in my MS3, with the exception of the occasional SRT-4 or unsuspecting civic owner.
I also drive an SVT Lightning and every red neck and his brother tries screw with me when I'm in that. I had a few people in the neighborhood that used to do the slow roll at high revs around my house, trying to taunt me out. One day it got to me and I pulled the truck out, laid down about 200' of smoke and rubber and then put it back in the garage... now the neighborhood stays nice and quiet.

I'm partial to post #2...but if you sit on the porch with a shotgun and aim at them every time they go by I don't think they'll be revving up by your house anymore.

The only time anyone was obnoxious about it was on Rt 33, a kid in a TC.

HAHAHAHAHAHA was he for real? TC is a nice little package, but it has 100hp less than a MS3. Even if he had the super charger, which i doubt he did they only push 200 hp. BTW the supercharger upgrade for that car is $4K from the dealer, which made it as expensive as the MS3 but still not as fast.

Im also pretty sure the TC is the exact same car as the civic si ... take of the badges and you can hardly tell them appart.

Gosh, i felt so sad. That rice bucket was pulling on me on the top end. That little bugger had a ITR engine in there. Found out it was running low 13's lols..

I'm so glad I live in a quiet neighborhood. I have some neighbors down the street who have a foxbody 5.0, a newer Mustang GT, and a Z06. But we all pretty much don't drive like douche bags in the neighborhood. I'm pretty sure they assume my MS3 is just a slow POS economy wagon anyway.

Over here I haven't encountered anyone who wants to provoke me, like others have said, most people don't know what the car is about and they just ignore it, though the ricers (who over here are particulary vulgar since a good amount buy beat up used rice from US and get it imported here in MX, where by law you can import a used car if its 10 years or older) will pretty much race anything. Actually I find it odd they haven't tried to race me, maybe they're on to something.

In any case a few weeks ago I traveled to Tucson AZ and I hadn't even spent half an hour there and some slightly delicate looking guy in a stock civic was trying to race me. Being a good visitor in a foregin country(and one that wants absolutely no problems with his visa and/or local law enforcement), I ignored him. Not 5 minutes later I pulled to a stop at a traffic light next to a modded 350z, and when the light turned to green he really floored it. Me and my friends where really asking WTF with people being so anxious. The rest of the weekend, my car was ignored by the pseudoracers as it usually is.

What is it with guys in VW's. This guy merged all they way from the #4 lane it was some Ahole in a R32 that decided to get right in front of me. This guy sure wanted to dance but my 2yr old daughter was in the back seat strapped to her Recaro. Pissed me the hell off. I just backed off. Then gave him he was #1. (upyours). Also one of my buddies said he could take me with his 2004 Gti fully rebuilt forged motor running 19 psi on a greedy turbo set up I simply yawned and said what ever!
