What's funny about the "offroad" clause is my friend bought a STi when they first came out in the states and it came with a free 1 year membership for the SCCA.
Ok I didn't want to spend the extra money on the Mazdaspeed exhaust and intake and just go with another company but, this scares the crap outa me and I think I'm gona have to man up and spend the extra cash.

What kind of service did you bring your car in for?
HA! Damn Subaru...Yup, and a lot of Subie owners were seriously P.O.'ed when they found out the cost of their "free" membership was the revokation of their warranty when they actually used it.
Did anyone find out what he brought it in for?

I brought it in for the dip stick shooting out and oil spewing all over the place.
Thats an interesting one, I've never heard of that before. Did you ever find out what caused it?
Not really... After a compression test and leak down test, the dealer says its due to the engine being worn... Though, I don't think the dealer bothered to really diagnose the problem. They said the engine somewhat failed the leak down test saying some of the air leaks down pass the rings. And thus is pressurizing the bottom of the block.
I still think is some type of check valve or something. Because I never had any issues prior to the accident.
Anyway, it no longer matters since I'm getting rid of the car... (pissed)
Now....Get your panties out of the bunch they are in.

Unless you have it installed by the dealer when the car is new it still then only comes with a 12mo 12k mile warranty anyway. a CBE and intake alone arent much to worry about but when you have major mods like the OP thats a different story.
Accidents usually cause problems thats a given, shouldnt insurance then cover the cost of repairs then regardless of warranty and if your car was modded or not?
