I have to go to court

LMAO!!

both are good advice (the first being the best by far) but don't combine the 2!!! You'll come across as a real douche if you're, at first, real strong on your conviction that you weren't (excesssively) speeding. Then... when that doesn't work, you end up fessing up and asking that they be gentle. Just pick one or the other and stick with it. Your credibility will be shot and so will your chances of making it out with your license if you waiver.

he was a state tropper and he told me to not plea guilty... hopefully he will not show up in the court...be the way i didnt even drive mazda a that itme it wa in my dads dodge intrepid....to be honest i was talking to my girl and i was following the traffic ....i didnt even realize we were going that fast i was just behind other cars ...and than i just saw the lights behind me....this was even intetionally.

I have found it best not to use the "i didnt even realize we were going that fast" statement. That is telling them that you are not paying attention in how you operate a 3000lb object moving at speed. Just don't mention it that way.

I have to agree with Chico, he gave you good advise.

But you might get lucky and the cop not show. I've beat 3 tickets like this.

I've gotten close to 15 tickets (not all moving violations, alot of dick cops here) in last 4 years. Only had to pay one. The others were "taken care of" or beat in court.

However, here in MS, if you're going excess of 100mph on a bike, 90% of the time they won't give chase. So that's cool :)

The only person I know that has got arrested for speeding here is a friend of mine that was doing 135mph in a 40.

sign up for an online aggressive driving course, finish it before you go before traffic court, and see if that helps. there's a chance you could get the choice of loss of license for xx amount of time or do some kind of driving course.

Yeah should have clarified... do one or the other ... DO NOT do both. hahaha

In Milwaukee there are so many tickets issued that if you just take the time to show up the clerk will ask a group of several hundred who is fighting the ticket and who would plead No Contest, if you want to plead No Contest they will send you to a differant room, cut the fine and points in half just so they don't have to deal with you!

is that one that gets rid of pts? because if so you need to take that AFTER you get your points to then get them removed

lol ur screwed anything above 30 over is exhibition of speed... gg 2 month license suspension and have fun with the insurance next year

EDIT: see if they will let u plea in obaitence if not try to fight that sucker down to a regular ticket man. if it stays exhibition its on ur driving record for 5 years under reckless driving, insurance will shoot up

Just find yourself a lawyer.

I have to say I agree here. I've went alone 3 times. The first time they gave me a "disturbing the peace" $50. The second time I got the full charge of speeding when the cop did show up to testify against me.

The third time I was "going in excess of 90mph" I had to go to court 3 times because of little BS things that I did not find in all the research that I had done to prepair. The 3rd court proceeding was the one right before I would decide that I would go to a full trial! I was looking at a $400 fine and "careless driving". I ended up begging the judge to reduce the fine, which he did to $200. I was in a full suit and tie and all cleaned up respectable looking, but when you are in deep sh*t you should REALLY GET EXPERT ADVISE. If you can afford it get a lawyer and save yourself the hassle. You MIGHT get lucky and get off on your own, but I promise if you bring a lawyer to do the talking that you will get a reduced sentence.

(rlaugh) you gotta be F'in kidding me!!!

What must've THAT conversation been like?

Cop: Do you have any idea why I pulled you over?

Crazy Mofo: Umm... busted tail light?

Hring a lawyer is sort of like hiring a real estate agent to sell your house. Both should know their s*** so they've definitely got you beat there. But how much do they REALLY care? Typically a real estate agent will convince the seller that their house is worth less than it really is... so they can sell it sooner and move on. (they'd rather receive x% of say.. $300k now than wait 6 months for x% of $350k) Lawyers are kind of like that. Even though you think you're paying them well... they always feel they're worth more. They will often take a "reasonable plea" (all the while convincing you that it's the best you'll get) meanwhile... they just want to move on to the next case. If you're competent enough, since it's your money and life, for what you lack in expertise you'll make up for in effort/heart/persistence.

wow 3 pages of readign .....to be honest I will lose couple hundrets and propably go with lawyer they will look diff at me and maybe just get regular ticket.....thx for advices

Dude... seriously???? Are you mental?

I gave you some pretty damn good advice and THIS is how you act?

I must say... that's pretty F'ed up. Truth be told, you butchered the English language pretty good with that post of yours. Whether you like it or not, how you type on here is a reflection of who you are. Other than the content of your message, what else is there? As cited above, it's similar to how one dresses. Right or wrong... it's just how it is.

So for you to not have... what? a extra 10 seconds to "fix" your post says something. While I admit I might've been a bit harsh... your absurd response to my post, in additon to providing a good laugh, makes me seriously regret ever wasting my time to try to help someone out. Clearly you, in addition to being a reckless driver, are an ungrateful SOB who frankly deserves (most likely) what you have coming.
