Its a sign. Get the CS downpipe with this. :)

well........I would get the SU testpipe if I was in you boat. But I have a Cobb DP which includes testpipe (highly reccommended)

I have the CS one. I'm pretty sure they're all almost exactly the same. There's only so much you can do with that short piece of pipe.

I'm with you bro, seems that the su tp is the way to go. I did look at the turbo xs but I also heard fitment issues with their product as well

i just installed my turbo xs one this week that I bought used and i LOVE it. No fitment issues and the sound is amazing along with 2nd resonator and muffler delete. car sounds mean as hell now. No leaking or fitment issues. Just required to get 4 new bolts with locking washers and nuts.

i have the cs dp and it was in as easy as it could have been. no fitment issues at all. no leaks. nothing. just POWER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! crazy power gains

uh...not really. Sound goes up a bit, but I think you may be imagining huge power gains. I'll tell you this - the CS piece is MUCH lighter than the stock piece, so at least it has that going for it too. I wouldn't say it gave the car more than 5whp extra, though.

I'm with you there, but I didn't even notice more sound when I installed the CS. You're not going to get 50 hp from a TP or anything though.

actually thinkin about dp and keeping the 2nd cat for emissions

with stock CBE and DP, the SU test pipe will fit the best

Thats what I keep hearing but why do you think that SU made their test pipe without the exhaust hangers?

I really dont like dangling exhausts and extra stress on the pipes due to the lack of hangers.

the CS test pipe fits just fine with the stock DP and CBE. That's how I had it for a few weeks before I bought the DP

Not sure what your talking about. The stock cat that you replace with the test pipe is a lot heavier and it has no hangers.

I cant speak for the CS test pipe because ive never seen it but the SU one fits great. I had to buy a 10 dollar replacement gasket from them because my stock gasket was all rusted and not sealing. Just pick one and get it over with because either will work fine. Worse thing that can happen is what happened to me and you have to get a replacement gasket. No big deal.

Are you saying there is not hangers for stock?? I have to admit I have not been under my car b/c it is stock.

But the CS test pipe shows hangers:??

And this exhaust diagram shows hangers as well:

Well ive never been under a speed 3. When I ordered my speed 6 test pipe then sent me the speed 3 one by accident so I saw it. On the speed 6 at least im pretty sure mine had no hangers.

Its really not an issue though so I wouldnt stress about it. The pipe squeezes in there so tight. Its so much lighter than the stock cat and its not very long. Its only like 1.5 feet long and it bolts on with spring loaded bolts . . . trust me it wont hang or go anywhere. The catback has hangers anyways.
