Check & see if auxiliary lighting is supposed to be a certain height off the ground, IIRC 18", & some BS about when they are allowed to be used(with what other lights). Otherwise why Mazda & other car companies wire them the way they do unless DOT issues? Besides the fact that people would be running down their batteries if fogs came on independant of all other lighting or key settings. DRL lighting is to be seen by other cars, not to help see where you're going. DRL's aren't bright enough to blind other people either. They don't count in this respect.i'm glad i can make you day
EDIT: i swore when i tun on my high beams i only have the HB light on...fogs turn of and so forth.....and about fogs being illegal to run during the day....then what are DTRL??
