I just installed my AP and went with the 91 and 93 Octane Stage 1 map. Well went for a run first gear went great, second gear I though I head knock with both maps. I was logging at the time too. Here is the log. Are the AFRs a bit high?

You're too lean on both logs where it looks like you were wot. Can you do another run in 3rd gear and go wot from 3000 rpm to about 6500?
 
I'm trying not do get knock again. Question, this might sound stupid though. Should I let the ECU learn first before I push it?
 
yeah someone else posted a dyno with the ap and they where super lean, I think 12.5afr is ok for our cars though cuase disi..
 
sorry I'm a rotary guy and I'm not used to knock or AFR's above 11.5. Another question, how do fuel cut feel/sounds like? I just want to make sure what I heard was knock. OH BTW when I hear it, there isn't really power lost. It just feels like the car ran out of breath.
 
It could be that your stock fuel pump cant keep up with the extra demand. dont know much about mazdas but on stis they recommend that you upgrade to a walbro pump when you up the performance. especially if you are flowing more air via intake or exhaust

not sure id go WOT after seein those numbers... looks lean to me as well..
another rotary guy here not used to seein afrs that high...
