What have you done to your MP3 today???

Could u tell any difference witht the new pullies on?

I know the question wasn't directed at me but I have a full set of medieval's light weight pullies and it knocked .3-.5 seconds off my ET in the 1/4. It free's up lost power due to rotating mass being lower, so I can't really say I feel it in a specific rpm range but the gain is definately there.

JUST GOT IT BACK!

... from the guy who fixed my rust problem/painted & put on my new bumper and new headlights, i'll post pictures tomorrow!

Refinished my headlights (although I need to start over as I didn't spend enough time taking out the scratches from the harsher grit sandpaper), and installed my HIDs :)

Picked up some 5 spoke eclipse gst wheels yesterday, painting them white and there goin on for the winter

i took a pic in a parking garage

Put down a deposit to get the carbon fiber roof cap to match my hood and trunk. Swapped my hood back to stock for the winter. And took care of a couple rattles inside the cabin.

Just replaced the rear calipers. The driver side locked up completely. Luckly somebody had a set. (Thanks 323) The screw in the back striped out and locked the caliper on there hard core.

just finished a 2 day install for twiggy sticks and 4pc medieval pulleys. she feels absolutely fantastic.

Do anything with the ECU, or is the car doing pretty good on its own with the cams? How'd the install go? I've got a pair of these sitting in the garage right now and I'm trying to decide if I want to get a hold of a spare head or not.

Took a weekend up in the mountains of Steamboat Springs. Got the car sideways a few times (not intentionally) on the way back. One in particular was a long left sweeper. I thought I was going into the snow bank for sure. Luckily I stayed calm and regained control, so no off roading adventures. I didn't know whether to laugh or cry when I saw how dirty my car was when I got home. So I decided to laugh and take some pics for you guys. For anyone that's seen shots of my car before, you know how clean I keep it on a regular basis. This was just down right filthy!

It actually went very well. I never did that intensive on an install before, however the only hiccup I had was with the crank pulley bolt. Spent about 3 hours using different techniques, finally turning the motor over (spark plugs disconnected of course) with a bar acting as a wedge got the sucker off. Also, I had to adjust the bolt on the throttle body to get the idle to settle down, and I'm now smoothly idling at just barely under 1k. Other than that it was just time consuming-pretty cake to be honest.

As far as the ECU, it has had no issues so far. I just threw a CEL today because it's running rich (about 250 miles since install). I'm planning on getting a piggyback to get the most of them, but as for drop-in compatibility it's doing extremely well. I discovered today that resetting the ECU will buy roughly an hour of highway speeds until the light comes back on, so I imagine I might pull that one when I go to get smogged if I don't get it fixed within the next month.

Anyway, they kick in around 3.5-3.75k, so the pulleys and advanced timing help out a bit. I haven't noticed any loss in the low end, however the top end is absolutely amazing. Highway travel is much more fun- I can take hills and passing fellow cars at 80mph with ease. Definitely the best mod on the car.

I definitely say install them once you make your decision on the head, you won't be disappointed.
