I know it didn't come in black. I was saying that the MP3/P5 bumper looks good regardless what color the car is. I'm not concerned about looking like a clone...its my car if I wanna drive around with it on there then why does that matter? I like it and I think it looks good so what? If you don't like it...ok cool for you...don't put it on YOUR car. And I know the P5 didnt come in a sedan...that's common sense.

We all like what we like and thats that....next topic.

I didn't mean to insult anyone that put that bumper on their car, or that wants to do so. I know a lot of people did. I just gave one of the reasons I didn't want to do it. I loved my car for what it was.

And being a "poser" would mean that someone was driving around with a interfooler strapped up to their car telling people they were turbo when they are still NA. Being a Poser means you are trying to portray something you aren't...none of the guys with MSP/MP3/P5 front bumpers on their ES/DX/LX are running around saying they are a MSP/MP3's...so how is that being a poser if they are not claiming they are any of those other cars?

IMO those are both examples of poseur. Sure, the interfooler is a more extreme example. Of course, there are other ways of looking at it, and opinions will vary per person. But anywho, back to the pics!

The BC2 side skirts look good when you get the DG front lip too, otherwise the side skirts will extend noticeably further down than the front bumper by itself.

Anyone think it would look like s*** if I did the BC2 side skirts with MSP rear lip and MP3 front bumper? just thinking...cuz I've already got the BC2 kit, but dont want to mess with the whole fiberglass s*** and it breaking. But I've always loved the MP3 front bumper over the MSP. And I already have a MSP rear lip I bought when I was in Iraq. So all I'd need is the MP3 front bumper.

Here is a pic to show you a example of what it would look like . Keep in mind im running the bc2 rear as well since i didnt like the look that much of the msp rear lip ..

I totally agree and the BC2 sides and rear with the MP3 front/DGlip looks secksi as ****!!! If I end up keeping my car I'm for sure doing that!! Thanks man for the pics!!

No, I just dont like being told I'm a poser when I don't tell people I'm boosted or anything else I'm not. A front bumper on a car doesn't define someone as a poser, it just means they like the look of that front bumper better than their stock one. If the same guy is NA and runs around telling everyone hes a boosted MSP and that his s*** is insanely fast then yes he is a poser.

As for your opinion on the whole front bumper discussion...thats your right to your opinion...I just don't like the look of the stock bumper because its boring and plain and the car still looks like a 4x4 even with it being lowered...I dunno just isn't my cup of tea. And I think a lot of people put those front bumpers on their cars because the BC2 kit is cheap...regardless where you buy it they are all the same and are still going to chip and crack easily. Thats why I wanted the MP3/P5 front because I know its a lot more durable than the BC2 front.

I remember seeing this argument a few years ago, some people with MP3s and Speeds wanted to keep the exclusivity. I got a couple negative comments when I did the swap in 06. In the end, it's your car.
