Yep...plugs need a swapping.
I have the new NGKs...the mechanic does not have the correct size extension to fit into the plug holes...so it'll wait til I get back in Feb. THe car will take roughly 2-3 months via ship to reach the US...If i don't get it changed before..it'll be after.

that would scare the s*** out of me having the car in a container on a ship like that. i would fly the b****

well you realize most cars come to the US on a boat... well the imported ones any way

I thought you just needed a 6" extension. It's literally a 2-minute job. I know the miata also eats through plug wires like it's its job. Mine started stuttering like that at low RPM and replacing the wires fixed it. There was moisture in the plug wells causing the spark to arc to the head.

I would love to see the pricing on shipping a car airborne.... lol think about what size plane you would need.... cant do that s*** on little zippin planes... would cost a buttload id imagine

Considering how its life started out when I got it back in 2006...I definitely agree:

Anyhow, the US Govt pays for the shipping because I am under official orders here, so it's a free trip here & a free trip back. I checked how much it was 2 years ago...just hovered around $2k for a 1-way. As for flying, I watched a Gumball 3000 movie a few months back called 3000 Miles or something to that effect...about the Gumballers doing Europe...its the one with Bam and Tony Hawk...good movie too. They flew on a HUGE Russian plane...the largest plane on Earth or something...interesting movie to watch if you can find it. Amazing locales and dope ass cars.

Yep...thanks...this car has been through hell and back...blowing the motor on the way to the Grassroots Challenge, the mad rush for KCBHIW (Kev) to fix it, rushing to get the roll bar installed and then shipping it out less than a week later...almost blowing the motor here...the numerous rebuilds and parts shipped from the US...lol...man...I can't wait to get back so I can drive the P5 & have things delivered via UPS...LOL..you guys have NO idea!

JDM: That Miata is sexy! I love the fact you Spicy-ed it! NICE! Also, sucks that you spun it. Good job with the mag shoot.

NegatiZE: VERY NICE and clean as hell '99 Sport 20. I never really liked the front end of the 99-00 Protege's but yours is very nice. Overall look is the secks. I still prefer the 01-03 3rd Gen look best but yours is nice.

Also, NegatiZE, what wheels are those? I am not a fan of more than 5 spokes but those look nice. (Obviously I am not a fan of BBS even though there is a big factory no more than 15 miles from my house.)
