my christmas present, a broken motor mount!!!!

Well I was driving down the road from my house to take my dog to the vet and suddenly, I felt like I ran over something and it got stuck on my front left wheel. I couldn't figure out what the sound was until I opened my ******* hood and this is what i see.

I already got the tranny mount replaced by the dealer and this still happened. Mazda will hear it from me when I get my car back!

2nd time I've seen a post on a failure after original tranny mount was replaced. Whoever designed those mounts should be fired.

Driving style doesn't seem to matter, its either the bolt or bracket that fails from what I've read on here.

ok....that's kinda the point i was steering toward.....it looks like a common issue that keeps coming up.....but i haven't really heard of the mounts themselving really breaking.....just the rubber dyin which is my curent problem

yeah i saw that and you really should take that offer dude....that's a def win.....just get a set of aftermarket mounts....i mean 2 less car payments, hell yeah

i floor my car once in a while.. i think the car's made to be driven like this as long as u dont abuse it.. but this s*** is crazy. the tranny mount broke while i was driving in 1st gear!!! i'm hoping to get something out of this . i'll be calling them as soon as I get my car back.

Do the people that have had their mounts fail have the Corksport engine inserts? Wondering if that causes premature wear on the other mounts and if Mazda/dealerships would automatically deny fixing this huge issue if you have them installed.

well the only mod that really matters for my car is the CPE intake and my car is an 07... 08's and 09's dont really have any problems. i might have to trade in my car for an 09.. my car has 27.5k miles

I've read of at least one '09 with a broken mount.

I sure hope motor mounts won't be an issues for the 2010 speed3, I am looking forward to that beast!
