Post The Best Pictures of Your Mazda

lol, your sig confuses me....how can a blue msp (03.5) be the first mazdaspeed in the us? I thought the first was the prototype that's running around in so-cal

He's referring to the MSP as the first MS available to the American public...not that his car was the actual first one.
(second)
English mofo's...do you speak it...?
LOL

Soooo...walking to the store with my wife this afternoon.
Parked the Miata on the street last night.
Today I notice a huge scuff mark on the front bumper.
The asshat that parked in front of me must have hit me while he was backing out.
No insurance information left. Welcome to Turkey.

The ONLY good news is that I have to take the car in to get the old Mazda logo spot sanded and repainted, so I'll have them look at that also. The marks don't look deep, so it may buff out...but still...I CAN NOT WAIT TO LEAVE THIS PLACE.

if you were leaving in FEB 08 you would alread have left ;)

oh and don't park on the streets here either if you don't like scuffs & scratches on your bumpers

check out what someone left for me (no note) back when I had my miata parked on the street:

I don't recall what the first one's color was, but the one in his sig is post all of the 03.5 appearance changes too

if I recall the first was spicy orange, or red....one of the two
rumor has it that the first one had hardpipes factory, was supposed to come in red, and a few other things...how much of that is true and actually happened idk, but I do remember seeing pics of an msp with hardpipes with captions of being the 'prototype'

lol, the original plan proposed was a v6 turbo awd, but mazda obviously didn't want to spend that much =P

I think from what you said you are spot on. It was red, awd turbo, with a lot better options than we got. I believe it was actually supposed to have a FMIC as well. Dammit Mazda! I think they toned it down for cost to the consumer reasons.

Anyone got a pic of that prototype FTW?

Plus, I believe Black Mica was before spicy being that my production number is one of the latter ones of the 03 style.

It was on protegegarages site when you click on mazdaspeed accessories or something like that.

If it WAS it's not now. Sad... I really wanted to see this...

I was watching 2F2F (yeah yeah I know) and during the Scramble Scene, there is a red Mazda Protege with altezzas, an ungodly wing, and some nice white vinyls all down the side. It's hard to spot but you see it twice in that scene. Tell me this wasn't it. I mean, that movie came out right about the same time the MSP was debuting.

Which brings me to the question, during the behind the scenes features, they talk about having an unlimited income and they chose the Lancer Evo (ok fine) and a ******* Eclipse Spyder with CHROME RIMS? Why not choose the MSP that hasn't even hit the shelves yet?

^ive noticed and said that plenty of times. Not saying it directly to you, but no one cared. (dunno)

The stunt drivers should have steped up and sai something, which is what happened in tokyo drift, whihc had much better cars besides the hulk machine, which all i simply have to say is bow wow

Well before I was a mazda guy I thought this as well. LAME! Love the movie but that always irritated me. Hell, an STi would've been better. Of course you know that the Eclipse was Tyrese's car in real life though.

Either way, that was a waste of a lead car and eclipse.

The only thing I liked was the suede interior.

Majority of scuff marks buffed out.
Regardless...will be getting the front bumper worked on none-the-less.
