What have you done to your P5 today?

This morning.....

Pulled the car into the garage just as it started raining to remove the bumper. Thankfully I have just enough room to do what I need to to pull it off.

Broke both effin clips on the headlights in the process....anyone who has taken off the bumper knows which ones I mean. Then one bolt on the plastic piece that sits just in front of the light to hold it in place wouldn't come out. It will spin but spins at an angle. So knowing that you can remove the light w/o removing this piece I start to wiggle it out and *crack* it breaks....see pic.

Then while blowdrying it out, the damn blowdryer overheats....so now I have a silica gel pack resting inside while it cools.

On the bright side, it stopped raining and the kitchen cabinets will be delivered in about 30 minutes.

And this afternoon....

Bah....dried out the head light....re-mounted and made sure the rubber boot was on nice and snug. Re-installed the bumper, which btw is a pita with one person with both head light clips broke. lol

After that, I ran some errands and on the way back to the car in the parking lot....you guessed it, the same damn light was fogging up on the inside. Popped the hood and the boot is still on nice and snug, so maybe I need to silicone the seal?

Whatever I do, needs to be done before inspection.

tried the dynolicious program for the iphone for the first time since getting it... probably not to accurate because i started on an incline, dead stop, making a right turn onto the highway. but this is what i got... and i think i overshot on the weight of my car but i figure 3500lbs is close enough... Also didn't get up to 1/4 mile because of upcoming traffic...

check out my mod list for more details of the car. But
Boost = 7psi
also had a little bit of knock at around 5500rpm. On top of that i didn't get to pull third gear all the way as you can tell from the graph.

true that but i know the stock weight of the vehicle... it's on top of my registration and on the inside of the driver side door...

i was accounting for the weight of the following:
half tank gas
19" rims
BBK
Sound System
and misc crap in the car

:) LOL. Yea my bad for the double post but when using the iPhone as a modem there some glitches

should work with an ipod touch. the only difference between the touch and the phone is well, the phone feature.lol

Didn't know if it used the GPS feature or whatever to get measurements of speed and stuff.

Had the wife download that app on her touch but sadly haven't even tried it out yet. Time for the alarm upgrade install right now tho...........

Yeah...considering I had the damn thing in the house yesterday and dried it out with a hair dryer/silica gel pack.

Think my mechanic will overlook it during the inspection? haha

Came up with an idea lastnight driving home.

Anybody think it would work?

take apart the stock tails and where the halogen bulb is, maybe fab up a bracket to hold the LED's from the Acura TL's?

Have 2 horizontal LED strips that will actually be visible as opposed to just putting cheap-o led bulbs
