new turbo , now how to break it in HELP

dry starting the motor will work, it only needs a few turns to build enough pressure for the turbo. Go easy on it for a few hundred miles

yeah ive only gone about 4 mi on the new turbo and according to my boost gague im not even building boost ??? I can hear the turbo spool and also release boost out of the BOV but on my gague it shows none ???? could it be because of the 3076R and it just needs more umf to build boost for the gague to read ?????

Or- Your boost gauge is disconnect and/or the boost gauge line is also broken/bent?

ok so i am getting the car back from the dealership tomorrow and everything is finally done. So work the turbo in over few hundred miles ?? and drive it easy??? What should i not boost over with stock internals

I agree to go easy the first couple 100 to check for oil/coolant line ect issues, but the turbo is spinning at a few thousand rpms at idle when you start it anyway, when it's boosting I'm sure it sees 15-20K easy, it's basicly broke in when it starts.

my bad.. just searched the new threads.. didn't see which forum this was. I've no idea what the MZR's stock rods can handle.. I think it's about 350ish.. but I'm not sure. I would say keep it below 13psi until someone else more knowledgeable can chime in.

what about 15-20k that sounds high ??? in any manner
15-20K is kinda low acutaly.. if you look at any kind of garrett turbo rpm gauge they go from about 10-20,000 all the way up to about 200,000RPM's. Ball bearings ftmfw (headbang)

they can only void warrantied items that have been modified and that they can prove that it was the modification that caused the failure, legally.

Sadly the legal system doesn't work that way. Don't want to thread jack or start an argument but do some searching in the forums to see how many people have been denied warranty coverage for minor bolt ons.
