ForceFed - squirrels, mice, raccoons are usually the main culprits. Like Jen said - those little buggers can sound 10X their size when they're tromping around up there...

If you don't want to go up, call the pest control place you use - they take care of beasties like that too.

Mice are an issue here this time of year....darn things. I live next to a brook too, which makes it even worse. Little buggers start to look for a place to live during winter months, and think my place is rent free!

Its still up there whatever it is....I heard it early this morning again.
