Okay so I just used the luminics yellow fogbulbs and somehow the connecter on the right fog lamp melted a little bit and wont hold a constant connection, therefore the foglight dos not work(piss)...

I went down to a local mazda dealership to see if i could purchase the one connnecter for that side of the harness and they told me that I would have to but the FULL Harness! (fuoops) OHhh yea and the harness is $1800 bucks ... WTFFFFFFF. Anyone help me out on this one?

Head to your friendly local recycler ... otherwise known as a junk yard. Bring your wire cutters and a buck or two.

This part?

You can get just the connector at Autozone or O'Reillys and probably other auto stores for around $5.

True.. Just worried Man I dont wanna short anything and be ******.. Just a simple uestion. So I can go to any autopart store and get that connecter.. What size is that connector?

Size? I don't know what kind of fog light you have so I can't say.
Mine uses a 9006 bulb. So I would look/ask for a 9006 female headlight socket.
Or print out the picture above...or clip the old melted connector off your harness and bring it with you.

Hardwiring? More like easywiring because it doesn't get any easier. Either solder the two wires together or use something like a crimp connector (the red tube in the picture above).

Solder: best
Connectors: okay
Twist and tape: emergencies only

There are a million how-to articles/videos on the web...just search "how to solder"

I think the most important step is to not leave the connection in the open, if they touch each other your in trouble. Solder the wires together, get some heatshrink and voila, your good as new.

Ill Kepp you posted. Im going away for about a week so probabbly sometime next week ill attempt the fix

Your best bet is to find a buddy who has some experience with electrical stuff. This is a pretty easy job for someone who has done it before.

Yea I'l figure it out. ill be back to my car in a fe das im gonna bring it into mazda withthe stock bulbs and tell those lazy sob's i want this s*** fixed. why he F%^& do i have a warranty for..

So because you put higher than stock wattage lamps in your foglights and melted the plug it's their fault they don't work?

I concur with everyone else that posted, either go buy a new connector, or cut one off of a junker.

To put the new one on you honestly just clip off the old one (leaving enough wire to work with), strip the insulation of each side (car's wiring, new plug) for about 1/4". If you're using crimp on connectors stick the wire into the hole and crimp it, if you're soldering (always better) tin the wires by melting a thin layer of solder over the exposed wire on each side. If you use heatshrink slide a piece onto one of the wires. Put the wires to be connected together and touch the soldering iron to the tinned solder..... it will melt and hold the wires together. Slide the heatshrink over the exposed metal and heat it up. Viola! you're done.
