I am new to turbo'd cars and would like to put a little bit more pep in this cars step so logically i would think to up the boost. I am looking into mbc's because of the cost but how do they install and work? I'm looking at the turbosmart ones and they have and inlet and an outlet tube at the bottom with an arrow pointing on way that reads "to waste gate", the waste gate is mounted on the turbo isent it and controls the amount of boost the turbo produces, so how do i take that off and put this on or does the factory one stay there and i unplug what i assume are vacuum lines and put this in its place just hanging there. Can it be easily accessed from the inside the hood with no tools? I hear that 18psi is the limit so be safe and run 17 or so. Will i have any problems doing this on a car with just intake and bov? Sorry for the long thread just want to make sure i wont blow my car up in little pieces(huh)
