Warranty claim denied

what's the car's condition, tires big freaking whoop, clean window, who cares. what about the physical condition of the car?? i mean seriously that's all it takes these days, speeding tickets from another car, bald tires, and a clean window. wow if mazda only knew how many time i was pulled over in my car i woulda been screwed the first month.

i will pm you the drivers licence # because with it you can get a duplicate printed. so dont want that on the internet.

Yeah. Why wouldn't they have anything written on them denying the claim? Is that private?

Tires being bald @ only 8k miles is a pretty fair indicator of abuse.
not sure what your trying to say but I didnt ask why he denied the claim. not a battle i am willing to get into...remember mazda controls what is done under warranty. its not up to the dealer. if they say no then its no. He can call mazda i guess and find out but we have nothing to do with this. Other than what dan told him.
i went through my orig dunlops in about 10k....and i don't race....
edit....i could only imagine what i would do with a speed

ok lets look at the bigger picture instead of pointing out small facts. His tires were bald with 8000 on the clock!!! At first I was completely in his corner, but seeing that he drove the hell out of the car I dont think you should try to point the finger at Mazda. However I am probably no different than this guy, just a hard working stiff. 500 bucks is a hard pill to swallow, but driving the hell out of your car and shaving down your tires is far more expensive.
A better way of approaching this situation is to level with the dealership and be honest. "hey I did drive it a little hard but I really cannot afford 500 bucks right now, can you guys work with me?"

so anyways on another thread about capital mazda by 1speed3:
so the other day i take my car to mazda because it seems to turn itself off rolling down the highway. After giggling the battery cables it turns back on. i take it in and they tell me its a bad maf (maf???? how is this possible) so i say ok and get it back. the next day im driving it happens agian so i take it back and am told it is the ground wire. Once agian i get it back and it does it agian so today i drop it off and was told its the main relay. So the parts througher at the dealership puts one in. I get a call this afternoon that the relay was not the issue and they are looking into it. Three hours later i get a call that they dont know what it is but they are going to put in a new fuse box and main wiring harness... To beat it all i was never offered a loaner and i have to wait till friday to get an update.
More of a vent then anything but feel free to comment.

your not very smart are you? I said I was there when he called the customer and he stated he never took the car to the track. Trying to give him a chance to tell the truth. Dan was going to put the repair to policy to help him out. I ordered the part monday and it was all ready on tuesday. We called mazda tuesday morning to open a tech support ticket and knew tuesday noon that mazda was most likely going to deny the claim. Thats why we call the customer tuesday afternoon. chris came out wed morning and denied it. at that point thats it.....even after it was denied by mazda dan asked the customer to pay for the part and he would pay for the labor....the part was all ready installed and I really didnt want to take it back out and he did.You do realize you are defending someone that broke a shift rod right? other than abuse I would love to hear what can cause a metal rod to break at the base and tires to go bald at less then 8000 miles?
