Watch those 5 quart jugs at Wally World. There has been multiple reports on Bobistheoilguy.com that the "5 quart" jugs have been measuring more like 4 quarts. This could explain the cheaper price.

Might be time for the BS flag... Plenty in stock at my nearby Wally World. All sortsa viscosities.

yea the flag might be raised on you...look for mobil 1 products and report back....cuz i still haven't seen anything here in DE and MD

I did, that's how I know they're available. Wally World has 0w-40, 5w-20 & 30. Not hard to find -- helps to read english.

Sorry, but I don't like having the BS flag raised when I know what I'm talking about. If I say I saw Mobil 1 at several places, it's there. I didn't look for date codes, but I suspect Sam's and Costco carry inventory that turns and doesn't sit on the shelf.

well that could very well be. if you've seen mobil1 products all over the place where you live, maybe they like overstocking it, maybe no one buys enough of it.

BUT, i have also had eyes on several distributors, talked to ppl who worked there, and have not seen my choice in mobil1 product. AND the mobil1 website still has, on its mainpage, the blurb about it's product being in limited supply due to hurricane ike. mention of said flag should never have happened in the first place
