I'm tryin to fabricate a gague pod for my MS3

Hi guys, this is my first post, I have been around for a while but never posted before. Anyway I was wondering if someone could give me the all around dimensions for the prosport 52mm boost gauge or any other good 52mm boost gauge, since I am fabricating myself a gauge pod on the steering colum from fiberglass, but dont yet have a boost gauge (i am a student and have no money to buy one right now jejeje) but i have plenty of time on weekends to fabricate simple stuff. anyway i am going to start right now so any help will be greatly aprrecite.
As soon as I have some pics of what I am making Ill post them

Heres what I did today it took me like 3hrs. I think is coming together very nice. I will keep updating with more pics as i continue the project. Anyway if someone can help me out with the dimensions i will greatly appreciate it. thanks

Ambitious undertaking. I built a 3-gauge pod for my MKIII Supra, as I don't care for a-pillar pods. Functional, but it never was as pretty as I would have liked. Once you make your pod deep enough for a gauge, I'm curious to see if it interferes with the windshield wiper control stalk. There's not a lot of room up there around the gauges & steering column.

I'll be curious to see how this all turns out. Best of luck, and kudos to you for DIY'ing the project!

Thanks a lot bill, I know theres not much room there to work with, but if that doesnt turn out well, I will start a new project on top on the steering column.
when i do more work on the pod on this weekend i will post some more pics.

im gonna move this to the ms3 appearance thread. Another member on here (ForceFed) made a similar piece for the protege's, you might be interested in talking with him for some guidance on this

If you can position the gauge slightly facing the driver, it would be a cool.

Ok jbiird, move it to appearance because I dont know a lot about posting and moving threads so i will thank you if you do it. Oh thanks for the advice about talking to forcefed i will definetly contact him if i need some guiadance.

Me too I am very interested in looking how this turns out, i cant wait to finish the piece, but i think is going to take me a while since i am studying for my finals, but as soon as i make some more work i will post it
