What have you done to your P5 today?

^^^yes
and this is off topic at the moment but
does anyone here have experience with the Posi Quiet ceramic pads on the p5?
im waiting for Jeff@tripoint to reply so i can buy.

Yes. Pray to god you don't need more than 3 panic stops within 10 hours. They'll fade like nobody's business... but they're damn quiet while they do it.

oh, and callie was following me home today and we were stuck behind some guy doing 30 in a 45.

Soon as the guy turned, i gassed it to about 5k in 2nd gear. She TRIED to keep up, but failed.

We parked at the house, and loooked at me with an evil glare.

I said, "WHAT?"

her: "I think i need a header"

lol

that's what I told her

"You had to get an auto!"

"How do I make mine as quick as yours?"

"Go get a 5 speed"

Bought a Compustar Pro Alarm system.
Anyone have experience with this system?
I figure it'd be good to talk about it with someone who has it while I wait for it to ship.

Oh no my man I took the entire mount out. It's a b****....but it's do-able.

I don't know if you can install the inserts without taking the entire mount out. Or am I wrong? (shrug)

I dont know what I'm thinking but you might be able to do it by taking the bracket off the engine side... but I doubt it.

Stock.

I've been happily driving my P5 with no issues for the past two weeks :) Of course, now that I say that something is likely to break on the way home today (hand)

Anyhow, I caught myself looking a wheels again. I'm back to my toss-up between 16x7 +46 mm GramLites 57c's (discontinued, so may be hard to find) or 18x7.5 +50 mm Volk CE28N's (easier to get, much more expensive). I already know what tire I will be using (Hankook RS-2) so it's pretty much a matter of how much do I want to spend and if I want to get the lightest wheel possible. Oddly enough, the 18" Volks are like 1.5 lbs lighter than the 16" GramLites, but then again the total price is like $800 more. I want as light as possible, but I also like the beefy tire look. Either way, the wheels will be bronze...
