Engine problems.. need answers

oh **** yea....my intercooler piping for my SMIC came witha bad clamp....going to go racing and i stepped on it, pop and stall....turbo blew the piping off lol

heat loosened up the clamp and whooosh haha.....fun part is reattaching it while your engine, turbo and hot pipe is pipping hot lol

oh the burns

Yea but will it still make the whole BOV sound? know what i mean?

the car is not designed to vent to atmosphere. frankly you should not be buying a bypass or blowoff valve to make a sound. the function of such a valve is far more important. the car tunes from a Mass Air Sensor. venting open, sound or not, allows the sensor to see a rapid amount of air flow loss/change and thus it will attempt to compensate with appropriate fuel and timing adjustments. normally this leads to a loss of power across the board and between shifts.

if you run a cold air intake and recirculated Forge or HKS valve, you should still net a great deal of noise while doing it right

Point taken but i know of a mazdaspeed 6 just like mine htat had a blow off valve and it was running even better hten it was wit the recirc valve...so i guess its a chance to take and see how it runs
