Will a new WRX hood fit a Speed3?

Ive been thinking about running a honda v-tec exhaust camshaft on my car....I looked at it and it looks similar, has anyone else done this? =P

It looks like it fits but you'd need a vtec solenoid and a v-afc.

What he meant to ask was....

Are there any aftermarket manufacturer's out there who make a hood designed for the MS3 with a similar design as the STi?.

If not, I dont think it would be a horrible idea for an a/m company to attempt it, esecially with the MS3 being manufactured another year. Crazier things have been attempted

To find out if the hood will fit, measure the WRX one, and then go measure your Mazda one. If they are different, you know it won't fit. If they're the same size, then it's possible. Just by measuring, that should give you the answer.

I put boxer 6, and tranny out of a caymen in a 69 nova! it bolted right up, and all the wiring was plug, and play

I think the stock WRX wheels actually fit the MS3. No joke.

i pt one on my car, its a direct swap but you have to get longer bolts to attach it.


note: i converted my entire ms3 to a wrx, but i put in a sti engine and tranny

I think you're thinking of STI wheels. WRX wheels are 5x100.

And even though they're the same bolt pattern, the STI wheels have to be machined 11mm to fit over a Mazda hub.
