So I am working with ssautochrome.com right now to see if they would be able to manufacture a fmic kit for our car. I ran one of 2 of my subarus and have had zero problems with them. I also only spent 250 bucks for it. If we have enough people interested I will let them know, and they should be emailing me today with a price quote!

I had an SS Autochrome header on my last car and the welds were better than expected. When I took it off after three years, it was a bit rusty, but other than that it held its own.

ok we need at least 25 people interested to get the ballr rolling.

seriously people 200 some bucks for a fmic is a steal and its good quality!!

There is a group buy about to end for FMIC for the Mazdaspeed3 right now. It's under $800 for everything included painted pipes, all parts, etc. (link in sig)

Of course, if you can do the same for $250............

it is the same....

hence the word "kit"

its probably not goin to be THAT cheap but it'll be lower than the others a good amount. I've ran it on my personal and customer cars with no more than 1psi drop on their 3.5' cores. I wouldn't trust their turbo manifolds or anything that gets alot of heat as their welds tend to crack. But i do trust their intercoolers and piping, along with their header...even some of their turbos last longer than some motors but theres too much risk there.

no no sir i would never buy one of their turbos, but the manifolds arent that bad from what i have seen. but i seriously bought my fmic twice from them for 250 bucks. everything came its not cheap aluminum either, its stainless stell, i need had any rusting, picked up some good power, no leaks no problems.

so we really need some good support here to get this thing going, im kinda going out on a limb here but if we can at least get a list going that would be great! thanks guys (drive)

ive seen every one of their manifolds crack but thats only my experiences. The great thing is their intercoolers are bar & plate and end tanks are good quality. Ive ran them up to 500hp vehicles without cooling problems. Let me know if there's anything i can do, Im down on supporting this.

yea man spread the word. we did have one of there headers crack but then again we have had borla headers crack, so it happens. I just hope people on here can get there heads out of the clouds and realize the deal that is being thrown at them. heck a fmic for the price of an intake! come on people

It's times like these i wish i would have bought an ms3 instead of a ms6. You guys have so much more support for aftermarket modifications it's not funny. If i had a ms3 i would be jumping on this deal in a heartbeat. SS Auto Chrom has some pretty good quality parts. My brother has purchased there manifolds for his 240 turbo project and it looks great and the welds are done nice!

only reason we are getting support is because i asked them, you guys should try it as well.

i am also working with another company right now and something even more exciting... (laugh)

Will they be welding on flanges, how will fitting be / will customers have to cut peices, and is there powdercoating options ?
