Hey all i have a question, there are a few P5's around where I live i would say around 90% have lights like this:

Now mine look like this:

I'm wondering why there are two types of lights?

the headlight housing is just black, theres really no difference

somebody either took apart the headlight and painted it or u have a canadian p5

You're a lucky one...guys pull apart their lights to paint them so that they look like yours!

Thanks... seeing as I live in Canada that could explain it. I was just thinking of replacing mine after the winter and from looking around online i just noticed the ones like mine are almost $100 more over the chrome ones on the site I was looking at.

The 2002's have the chrome headlights and the 2003's have the blackened lights.

That's cause black headlights are the hotness and everybody wants them. Why do you need to replace yours? cracked lenses?

edit: just saw ur from canada so maybe in canada lol but i know for sure the us 2003 have chrome

they are in rough shape i did the cleaning how to and they came pretty good but there are a few stress cracks in them. So i figure new ones are in order.
