What have you done to your MSP today?

Just out of curiousity... if you get the LSD welded (because the stock nonwelded is no bueno) does that mean you weld the spider gear or whatever? I was telling my bro that I was going to weld my LSD and he was saying something about if I drive it in rain with it welded, then it'll have a tendancy to slide? Is this the kind of weld that goes on or is it just a structural thing?

no your just welding the case at the seam cause it has a tendancy to split. its purely structural.

got my spare turbo w/ 30k on it in today along with the GC coilovers. Got my wheel spacers and msp heat shield in last night too cant wait to see what the wheels are gonna look like with spacers

So the welded LSD is purely structural... good to know. My bro scared me. I was like "Great, so I'll be able to do wicked burnouts (ya know, not the ditchdigger kind) and I can do a reverse drift in my FWD.

the 5mm spacers will make the wheel look tucked nicely. My gram lights are 50offset, much much better than my rotas at 45.

I now know for a fact that you cannot have the AWR oil pan, Corksport full downpipe and have the AEM wideband O2 sensor in the j-pipe bung. Even with the cutout in in AWR pan the O2 sensor hits the pan. Kind of sucks so now I'm getting another O2 bung getting welded in. On a better note the MAM exhaust manifold is in.

Quick question guys, i want to put spacers on my car, but i don't know how thick can i go with my RX-8 wheels.

I found these on Amazon.com

They are good because i don't need to change the studs and can be easy on and off for inspection, what you guys think, are they too thick or ????
