Post The Best Pictures of Your Mazda

haha too exp for me, got no money for it, but they are nice tho.
Greddy counterweight is gona be bought in a couple weeks.

Looks nice, I also looked at that one, especially because it has only 5 gears plus the reverse in the same position as the Mazda. I've seen some really cool ones but they are for 6MTs so I wouldn't like it to have a "6th" fake gear printed in there...

Anyway, at the end the MAZDASPEED one won me over. It's quite comfortable and it has good weight as well...

yea i dint like my stock knob, not heavy enuf for the counterweight for my TWM SS, but im gettin the Greddy counterweight soon.

i love my greddy counterweight, great mod, except somehow i got scuff marks all over it, sigh its still shiney and chrome but you notice small swirls all over it. i wonder what i did to cause that.

its pretty common for that to happen on those types of knobs.
even the mazda knob. there are threads on it, and even complaints from greddy knob owners at meets.

okay, my only other complaint is that i have to wear a glove or drive with a towel over the shifter when it gets hot out. but thats with any metal shift knob

pop up shades really help, or u could just put a tissue over it when u turn it off and then it doesnt get hot!! lol

oh and sick rsx

Good to hear. You should drop off those MP3 wheels to get powdercoated a nice gloss black as well. That would look sweet.

Yeah man I can't wait. :D

Those are the stock lx wheels, s*** I wish I had the MP3 ones. They look tight but are 5 lug =/

I was passing the idea around of having them powder coated gloss black. Still not sure...

Whats going on with your car bro?

Offtopic: I love my stock shift knob!

Off, off-topic but yeah, that one is awesome, but if I get that for my people movers I'll need to post he pics in the ricer thread (a rotary Mazda5, 6MT, yeah right) ;)

Allright Allright back on topic...

LOL, I just noted that. No they are orange/red. I was playing with a cheap photo editor I got (hue, saturation and gamma) so I guess that changed them. Looks cool though (naughty)

Here is how they look (sorry, is not my pic, just a quick find):

i live in texas so theres always a hat over the knob

I've always used a beanie. Hats have a hard time being stable. Perhaps they should make a MAZDASPEED metal shift knob sock... LoL

Then what's the point of having an all metal knob at all? It's either too hot or it's too cold
I'm in Texas too and that's why I did not opt for the TWM knobs, though the extra weight would be nice.

its for the counterweight. easier shifts.
and its not like the knob is a part that people check out, so it doesnt really matter if there is a hat coverin my knob.
