Dashhawk

very nice -- so it basically just blocks off some of the fuel gauge and below like 20 mph? do you find that the view w/ 4 pieces of data displayed is too difficult to read while moving? like too small?

It only blocks the cruise control light and the odometer... The speedo and fuel are completely visible. You have to sit in the car in order to see it. But I positioned it between the 0 of the speedo and the E of the fuel gauge.

I use the 6 window display. Its the biggest or smallest you can go. I prefer the 4 window display better. I can see the 6 window just fine.

shittt -- so once I do the Cobb AP or a MBC (w/ map clamp) I will have to get a real boost guage? .....its never easy....

hahaha. yo man. i installed a boost gauge for this exact reason last weekend. i didn't want to, but i found out that the dh will not read boost correctly with an mbc and clamp.

i still haven't mounted my dh either. i was thinking about column or right above the vent on the dash on the left

If you do the Cobb AP, the dashhawk will accurately measure boost since there is no tricking the ECU. Mine reads 17-18psi everyday!!

hmm -- in the future if i were to run a MBC would the Cobb AP be fine or would I have to getta map clamp? sry if its a bit of a noobish question (i haven't really done much research on that yet just b/c I figure I'm about a year away from goin that far ....wanna do FMIC, DP/MP, BOV, and some more b4 I go MBC)

I'm just tryin to plan ahead as best as possible....

if doing AP you dont need MBC they keep updating the maps more power now... working on race tunner which will allow you to change settings if you wish... the DH will not read correctly if you are tricking the ECU. I.E. if you yse any pigyback systems like map clamp, cpe standback, the DH will not read correctly.

thanks 2 every1 4 all the responses -- i think ill prolly just get the Cobb AP since. The only nice thing that I'd like about the DH is the datalogging, but I'd rather spend the extra cash on power mods.....
