Went to see family in Grand Junction, Colorado, it's right at 1,000 miles each way from my house in Clyde, California (SF Bay Area). Worst MPG I got was 25.2 mpg doing 79 mph in a bad head wind with the A/C on, on my way back home. That was from Elko, Nevada to Reno, Nevada, about 290 miles. Best I got was 31.6 going from Wendover, Nevada to Spanish Fork, Utah, about 170 miles. All others were 26.5 to 29.8 mpg depending on wind and other factors like going up and down a few mountain passes. All this was doing 79 mph in 75 zones and 69 mph in 65 zones with the A/C going and on cruise. Very pleased considering the window sticker said freeway mpg was 26. I'm also getting about 22-23 mpg around town which I think is very good, again, window sticker said city mpg was 18. Car ran like a champ! I will also note that CA has the WORST freeways as far as condition. As soon as I hit the Nevada state line the roads were A LOT better and that's through NV, UT and CO. CA roads suck!

Sounds about right, this car should be capable of those numbers with cruise control. Good finding, I need to do some long trips, I only drive 16miles a day to work.

Same here. 17 miles round trip per day, home to work to kids school to home....averaging 21mpgs with spirited driving throughout the trips (thumb)

You've never been to IL then. I've been to CA and the roads there are amazing compared to some of ours.

Yeah, I've noticed driving all freeway at 70-75 mph, the MS3 gets good gas mileage even with the A/C on and having 3 other people in the car. City/freeway driving hurts a little more.
