What have you done to your P5 today?

Oh, so, passengerside just presses in and the bolt is on driver's side?

I'm a total newb to motor mounts. Front was nothing

Ok I am liking the painted headliner and pillars
but how bad is the smell? how long until it stops smelling?

the pass side presses in and they have zip ties u use with them to keep them in place
the drivers side uses a bolt, and its a PITA to get it in right
the pass side just requires alot of stretching, not really hard at all

make sure u support the engine on that side, because if u dont, putting the mount back in/taking it out will be nearly impossible

Driver's side is done. Took a little fine tuning with the jack to get teh 17mm bolt back through.

Waiting on PB blaster to do it's thing on the passenger side. Had a suprise nut under a ground wire and other nut.

Passenger side insert is now in as well.

Hooray for no more wheel hop!

I gotta get the AWR rear installed now so i'll have all AWR MM's now.

It takes about 4-5 days for the smell to completely go away. Just keep your windows open whenever possible and you should be ok. The first day is the worst lol. Especially if you had to have your windows closed all night.

Got the last Tokico strut on the car and put on the new endlink. Hooray for much better suspension!! ALso put in an MX6 rear strut bar. I'll tell you how it handles after work :D

So what did you guys mean (for you who've painted the roof liner) when it didn't "feel" right? I've wanted to paint the interior all black for quick some time now but I'm afraid of the quality of the paint and how everything will look and feel afterwards.

The headliner becomes kind of coarse. A little bit like a brillo pad. The pillars don't feel any different at all. Do it man, you won't regret it.
