What have you done to your MSP today?

I got the ... another driver wrecking into me mod. Stupid b****.

Ouch man that super blows, when I first got my car within the first week some old fart cut in on my read quarter panel. I pulled over to the side and chewed the guy out for a good ten minutes just on a scratch...I can only imagine what getting hit full-on would have done (chair)

Well it doesn't appear to be that bad. He ran a red light and smashed right into my rim at about 35 mph. I can't tell 100 if there is any suspension damage but my rim will definitely need to be replaced. He was arrested for driving under the influence of some type of drug. Dumb ass gets out after he hits me and asks, did i just hit you? Enough said.

Well, I suppose it's better than if he was a crackhead with a gun.
Glad you're okay, though.

Oh, and today I purchased a new set of Magnum cross-drilled rotors and brake pads. I also bought a set of ARP exhaust manifold studs to go along with the Steedspeed turbo manifold I've got on order. (cabpatch)

I f&**g scratched my freshly painted rear bumper transporting my bike..... Mother F*&().......that suck kamon8404, hope the frame is good

Installed the DGM Carbon FIber Grill after i fixed it ^.^

and i might put the Clunk Fix Brackets on today, depends if im up to the challenge.

Well on another note i did receive my freshly powder coated 626 valve cover. UPS also attempted to deliver my 1.8l coils and ngk wires.

how much does compression check run?(scratch) I gotta do an oil chnage soon thats why I wanna do it at the same time.

Ordered a Autometer boost gauge with pillar pod and a 626 o2 sensor to replace my broken one.

Today I cleaned my Injen air filter, it was horrible. I also put in a set of NGK iridium plugs....

Then the fun began on installing the AWR side motor mount inserts I bought from PG. was a b**** overall but just cause bolt locations mostly... I am kinda pissed though because the instructions i got with the inserts were wrong and said to use the 1204 insert to slide over the bracket, but its not right you need to use the 1205. this caused the 1204 insert to tear. Part of me feels I should have caught the mistake, but I also depend on instructions and never replaced mounts before so wtf do I know? I emailed Ken @ PG so we will see what happens...

Overall though the car feels way better, not much added vibration and feels smoother overall....

hmmm my awr inserts didnt come with any instructions. are the instructions availalbe on the awr site?

don't think so but its pretty staright forward on the install...

1. Support motor from under the car
2. pull off mount
3. match it with the insert
4. reinstall

I am not sure where you ordered the inserts from, my box from protegegarage.com came with em... overall a pretty easy install, only tough part is bolt locations
