you decide!! what color to paint my ms3

im going to shave the door handles and need help deciding what color to paint the car. RED or GREY

if i had to choose, red, but i dont like that color scheme, i would like the car red, center hood, roof black with part of the front bumper black to finish the lines.. let me get a picture for you..

from those pics, i'd have to say i prefer the grey. i think if you're going to go with 2-tone, it looks better when its more subtle like that.

LOL! Just bustin your balls, but it looks like a 2 year old's coloring book! When you said it was "bad", I did not expect that, as usually the so called bad PS's are still pretty good. I know this was MS paint, but was still very funny to me. Hey, at least you know how to use the program.....sort of!

look, i am away from my home computer with photoshop, iam stuck in the desert(abu Dhabi) with a slow ass internet connection.. give me a break...... lol... but i did get my point accross...

no, i work for Schlumberger and a training center is in Abu Dhabi, so i am here for 3 week course in Electronics..

I shaved the door handles and did a full custom paintjob on my widebody mr2. Shaved handled are perfectly fine! never had any issues with them. And reselling it like that never was an issue either.

My 350z that I just sold to get the speed3 was painted 2 tone. People used to get wet over how it looked in person being 2-tone.

HONESTLY if they made speed3 in 2 tone with black on top and something else on the bottom I'd have been more inclined to buy that. My dealership had a sexy ass trued red one with blacktop and hood all customed out for sale like that, I wanted that beast! But dealership markup is a biatch!

i think that if they're high quality mods, you'll be fine. just make sure you go to a good paintshop. i personally don't like shaved doors but that's just me.

Just curious but why do you say that?

i used to be all into the show scene in the late 90's i shaved the handles on my car and it turned into nothing but problems. the battery to my alarm key fob went dead and i couldnt get in my car, they wouldnt let me race the car because of the door handles. it just isnt worth it in my book.

my last mazda 3 had shaved door handles and i never had an issue in 2 years with it. sure the batt in the control went dead but have you ever had anything the batt never went dead in? come on you just gotta be smart with it dont buy cheap stuff and you wont be disapointed. but this thread isnt about shaved door handles or not its about what color i should paint it.

NICE 3! Man they need to make a kit like that for the speed3! I want a kit for it bad and they dont seem to have anything affordable or good looking.

im glad you have had good luck with shaved door handles. im just letting you know what has happened to me in the past. just remember most likely you wont be able to take your car to a track(drag or road race). thats the biggest thing for me.
