What have you done to your MSP today?

I argued my way out of a modified exhaust ticket on my first car once by pointing out the cops strange actions before he pulled me over and by stating i purchased from a licensed shop in the state of md with a gurantee it was street legal. cop kind of looked confused and told me to have a nice night it was a weid situation.

he would pull out of a parking lot race between the cars and get behind someone and tail them then pull away after a bit and sit in another spot and do the same thing again. while doing the speed limit i passed him and there were four cars behind me and he never pulled out of his spot on the lot. about 8 miles down the road he comes flying in between the cars and pulls me over and i looked at him and asked the usual question "can i ask what the problem is officer?" (being honestly dumbfounded, i was on a first date so i wasnt going to scare the girl by driving fast the first time she was ever in my car so i def was not speeding) like i said it was a weird situation but im glad i was successful in arguing my way out of it.

Do you not have laws against exhausts? Your sig says Vibrant exhaust. If it isn't stock, it's illegal in Virginia.

I certainly like this community better. Evolutionm.net isn't the friendliest place I've been to.

not all states are like that, in md i think that as long as the noise is not overly loud (a nuisance or violates a noise ordinance) you are fine. I dont know how many times i see a ricer with a fart can go past cops and they dont even take a second look. the exhausts for our cars have a nice deep tone so at least around here you would not have much to worry about.

damn all these states that actually look at the cars and run obdII tests... down here where i live.. i just go in and register the b****.. they dont look at it, no inspections, no testing.. just re-registering.. gotta love that.. haha

I can vouch for that, since I used to own a Lancer OZ turbo. Lots of bickering on that forum. DCEvoClub is a much nicer community.

Any ways, today I FINALLY bought a Schroth Rallye 4 harness for auto-x use. It will get here Thursday, just like my R-comps. It's like Christmas in summertime.

We just got a Sparco harness bar and 4 pt G-Forces in my Dad's STi for autox/HPDE. I love how attached you feel to the car when you're all cinched down. Can't wait til Sunday's autox to really feel the difference.

By the way, anyone doing the TrackDaze event at Summit Point July 14-15?

hey if your dad ever decides to get rid of the harness bar ill take it off his hands becuase it fits in the protege lol

Yea I've heard that before. Good luck though, it's designed for the WRX/STi and we had enough trouble getting it in ourselves. We relocated a mounting point at the base of the b-pillar so the seat could still slide all the way back.

Rogue has one in his car from a WRX.

same here. i went from inspection nazi's in MA to ohio. in MA they failed my friends inspection because he had items in the back seat which prevented them from checking the rear seatbelts. mind u it was some small boxes, like IT stuff. they were being dicks.

then i moved to ohio...it was like letting the sex offender hang around the playgrounds. No cat? no inspection? 5.00 vin check? awwww yea.....time to get busayyy

Anybody have a clue why the crankshaft position sensor would throw a code? P0335 I think it is..
