I notice that the needle comes off full very quickly in this car. Either that, or I didn't fill it up as much as I could today. I finished my first tank of gas today and went until the needle was on the first tick mark above E. The low fuel light had been on for a while. It took about 11.7 gallons, so there was almost 3 gallons left in the tank. I got about 300 miles to the tank, but the trip counter was off when I picked the car up from the dealer, so I'm not quite sure what it actually was. Anyway, I filled the car until it clicked and then put about another .50 cents worth of gas in it. When I got in the car, the needle was about 1/8" above full. I went about 35 miles before the needle came had moved below the full line (mostly highway), which is not what I'm used to. My RSX Type-S would go about 60-65 miles before coming off full averaging 28-29mpg with my commute. Sometimes, with an all highway trip, I'd go about 90 miles before coming off full. So, I'm thinking that when the fuel pump clicked, it clicked prematurely, but I don't think I will attempt to top it off next time.
