Jay, I do agree it seems personal, but the plus side is it appears they were obviously not trying to damage the car. With the exception of the mark on the paint, a fairly easy clean-up. Just had another thought about this tonight. These clown(s) came prepared! Who the hell carries a grapefruit around with them, and how many tailpipes would that fruit actually fit into? You don't have a grapefruit tree in the yard or anything, do you?

On the plus side, it probably would not have done anything anyway. Did you ever see that Mythbusters episode? The exhaust pressure forced everything out that they tried to block the tailpipe with.

Also, how did you even see it if it was shoved that far up?

i was across the street talking with the neighbors and when i walked back I saw a yellow/orange color in the exhaust, just happened to catch my eye.
