2000 Mazda Protege
I left mazda for an integra but i had to come back. i just traded the teg for a 1985 mazda rx-7 gsl , its got a 12a with full racing beat exhaust system headers all the way back , msd blaster 2 ,electric fan, electric fuel pump, posse traction, jdm arctic yellow halogen lightbulbs,with new crystal cut headlights, l.e.d. taillight lightbulbs. im gonna get some pics up tomorrow, im just super excited to hear that wonderful rotary again and having my back tires spinning instead of the front

yessir i will. i just have to wait for my friend because my cameras broken so im going to use his. will post pics asap and i may even post a video of that beauty burning the tires.

I've always loved the RX-7. I'll never part with mine. The things falling apart but I can't find myself parting with it ever. I'd rather put 2k into getting the thing running again then buying a commuter for 2k. Rotary addiction for the lose. :S
Good find though, looks like a nice car. Awesome mod list too. How much did you pick it up for if you don't mind me asking?
 
i traded my 91 integra for it. plus he gave me cash so i can get it registered and stuff. i just got it so im not really pushing it yet but i did try to drift again. rwd for the win. :)
 
Tape off the windshield surround and raind drip channels and hit them with some rust-o-leum semi gloss black. It was what I did when I bought my GSL Friday :). I'm loving it too man. The RB exhaust is nice to have, I've got one on my setup.
 
i was wondering, that racing beat muffler is huuuge as hell with little pipes compared to the size of the muffler, would it be better if i put a smaller muffler on it??? and it will be painted soon to make it look a lil better. rotaries could be used as DDs, right??? the other rotaries ive had were just for projects so im not really sure.
 
I DDed my TII for 2 years with the only thing wrong that happened was a master brake cylinder leak. This car I plan on DDing. As for the muffler, you could try another muffler but there aren't too many avaliable. The stok muffler wont hold up well to the flow of the RB header and the pacesetter mufflers sound awful I've heard. I would'nt worry about it, the RB muffler is nice hardware. I'd love to see it with paint. here is a link to my purchase.

ther will be both once i get them. not a project car as of yet, might make this my project car if i start DDing my protege. MAZDA FTMFW!!!!
 
onoooooo. rwd ftmfl!!!! my bro(unexperienced in rwd) drove the 7. took a turn and downshifted, tires started spinning, he fishtailed it, BAM!!! ran teh driver side door into a tree. car still runs but i cant even open the driver side door.
