Wheel paint recommendation for Racing Harts?

I've got some silver MSP racing harts that have some rash. I'm going to refurb them. Any suggestions on a good brand of paint/primer etc to go with? Who's had good luck with Duplicolor wheel paints?

What sort of finish is on the silver stock? It doesn't seem like powdercoat.
I like the darker ones from the 03.5. I've heard it is powdercoat?

Since I'm going to refinish them what finish would people suggest? Satin polish then Clearcoat? Gunmetal? Silver?

Just don't say chrome...

Thanks. So VHT was used there. Better than Duplicolor?

Gunmetal or stick with stock Silver? I think a darker silver would actually look really nice. In between gunmetal and silver...

I just did an old set of TSW's (not to go on my Mazda). I used Duplicolor and it came out great.

Here's what the final result is:

I think both have been used with success, but most guys use Duplicolor, and they have Graphite dark silver that's pretty popular. Personally, I like that color and will eventually paint my rims that color.

Those look great. I used the duplicolor, and they look just as good a year later as when I painted them. Prep and clearcoat are the key IMO.

from what i hered and found out from my powder coat guy is the msp wheels from the 3.5 is like a hyperblack/black chrome
