Gt3071r dynos, datalogs.... heres the goods part 2

a nice chunk of that change is wheels/suspension though. so don't let people think it takes 10k of mods to get 350whp. I won't quite be at that level, probably close to 8k with a built motor (by me).

glad to see youre getting more comfortable. GET ME THAT MANIFOLD! (whip)

1. turbo
2. cdfp
3. standback

for $3000 it would put you faster than everybody but me. you could chop the stock airbox, gut the cats, and crush the bpv.....lol

then.....

4. intake
5. inlet
6. intercooler
7. tbe
8. bpv
9. manifold

for another $3000.... then youre right there with me.

nothing to do with power...
wheels..... 1800
gauges and pod..... 1400
coilovers, camberlinks, mount....1800
and all the other bulls***.... tint, dashhawk, and stuff

Plus, i dont do my installations. I dont have the time, the tools or the skillz.

Dude those #'s are great for 18lbs but i did see the afr gauge hit like 12.7, is
not that a little high. Should'nt it be around 11.5-11.8.

yeah...im pulling fuel up top.... i probably aught to give it back a little. as the temps get warmer that tune will all come down into the 10's and 11's like the last two days here in NC

I monitor a/f on the dashhawk and the wideband and Im not real woried about what im seeing.

but yeah youre right. I think the motors that had popped were on cars that had used the standback to extract to much power. I think the main purpose of the standback with my car should be making it safe.

Its just so easy to want to pull fuel when you see 10's on the dyno.

One last thing too. the load on the dyno makes those a/fs look a little higher than the road. My a/fs on the road have NEVER climbed over 12.5.

hey man I was wondering what the status of the car was and everything.... its been about a month since the last post and curious to see whats going on with it.

Probably the Ford engine blew up like Mikes car:-)
Just joking.Considering the E46 M3 had 280@ wheels roughly 340 on a 2.3 liter is phenomenal.

engine is running strong and he has switched to a CP-e front mount supplied by us.

You know ive been eyeing the CP-e front mount because of the temps here in AZ. I dont understand why there is a powersteering cooler and new radator lines. Could you clear that up?

Both are for fitment issues.
I would bet that the stock radiator hose is in the way of one of the intercooler pipes, and the power steering cooler is in the way of the core, so thats why they give new ones.

the CP-e front mount has the benefit of working with every aftermarket intake as well.

3rd is not useless...I get traction. Control of the car has been affected. Old spots where i used to gun it and id be at 100... now im at 120. I dont have the same amount of time to stop... gentle on ramps, with curves can no longer be floored unless you want to end up in a ditch... in, then out, than in... car will fishtail like crazy. And ive got ms coilovers.

its just a completely different experience. my car before was fun quick... now its scary fast. I cant think of a better way to put it.

congrats on the job well done.....i cant agree with this quote more....when my car just had the cai/tbe was fun quick....then it went not so fun fast with my atp fmic/inlet custom tuned.....and that is why i de-modd my car back to sri/tbe only....i can floor it on alot of curves and ramps like i love to do.... and dont have to ducktape both hands to the steering wheel....i find out i love curves more than a straight line in a hurry...(drive2)

I hear you there. Even though we have the weather being oh so nice right now, it'll heat up again. I was looking at getting the CP-E FMIC as well but I have a secret weapon!

Anyways, I'm so happy to hear that you're putting down that much power on stock internals. Once I get my parts in, I'm going to start hitting the track and try to help break some records as well. So impressed with what I've seen thus far from this car!

CPE must be banking... cause thats already 4 people that Ive heard of that have their Front Mount. And it hasnt really been out for that long.
