I like the first one better (mostly because I hate lettering on rims), but +42 is going to be awful close to the fender.

Where, how much, and what is the offset?

lol. I am actually thinkin about going with 17x8" now. Let me go dig up the sites....

www.tirerack.com

Look them up under 2007 Honda Civic Si Coupe. 18x8+40mm($260). I am not sure if that will fit, but the 17x8's +45mm($190) will fit.

canadian site. more expensive here for US but once more 18x8+40mm.

also here is Kosei's site on the K1 TS

http://www.koseijp.co.jp/engfl/specs/s_9_K1-TS.htm

Their are a few other sites with them, but tirerack is the cheapest for Kosei wheels.

Vord, I have no taste but those Kosei wheels are very nice and the weight even better.

Since a few guys are interisted in the Kosei rims. I did some research on other people running 18x8+40 (some with lowering springs) and found that they will fit.

Generally people run into rubbing with larger tires (9.4" section width is when rubbing issues start to happen). at 9.0" tires no one has had rubbing issues.

9.4" (234/45s on 8" rim will give you 9.4" section width with MOST tires) will cause slight rubbing during heavy loads in the car (4 other people) and large bumps. I can imagine that 9.6" will start to cause more frequent rubbing.

If you get the koseis with 18x8+40mm I wouldnt go with anything larger 9.2" section widths if you dont want to roll your rear fenders.
