just joined, looking forward to owning a MS3.

just test drove one today on the highway in the backs streets and all that! on top of that the sales person was like drive it like u would drive it!!(drive2)(drive) this thing is a beast

man all i can say is that i hope i sell my current truck this week so i can still buy one during the sale.
2000 cash back, 4000 down payment, and a 2.9% interest rate, my payments would be 340 a month. thats perfect!

the power it is able to unleash is incredible for a stock car,the shifting is crisp. the clutch is perfect, very spacious which is what i need being that i am 6'3", its just a wonderful car.

just though i'd express my opinion, looking forward to owning a Mazda

Glad to have you here!

Hope it all works out for you with the selling of the truck, etc so that you can drive the MS3 everyday :)

its excellent. my 280 lb 6'5" friend drove my car around. he stalled it, but he said it was comfortable overall. I was surprised none the less.

I was surprised when I test drove the ms3 too. I test drove the new gti a week before and I noticed a huge difference. ms3 ftw!

2,000 cash back? and 2.9% APR on a 08 MAZDASPEED3?? where do you live? my dealer isn't offering that in SC.. however, i am S-Plan and get a decent discount since my bro is an Engineer for Ford... but the 2.9% APR would be great!!!

The dealership, I'm most likely getting my MS3 from in a week or so isn't offering that. In fact, I'd be willing to bet the OP's dealer isn't offering that deal on the MS3 unless he does some serious haggling to get it. From what I've seen most incentives like that can only be had on "normal" fleet vehicles, special edition cars (ie MS3, Civic Si, Caliber SRT-4) are usually exempt from those things and it usually says so in the small print somewhere.

i was told S-Plan wouldn't work on the MS3. (huh)

Right now the current offer for the Mazdaspeed3 is 5.9%. Definitely not 2.9%. I got a better rate through my bank of 5.39%. You "might" be able to get $2,000 off MSRP if you haggle until they crumble, but that's stretching it.

yea, just bought mine, and there were def not any incentives on it. dealer said there weren't, but i looked just about everywhere i could think of to double check and there indeed are none.

Yeah i looked for incentives as well and theres none. Dealers would be dumb enough to offer them. They sell like hotcakes and the car has an incredible price the way it sits, giving incentives to buy would be the dumbest selling tool.

I guess its for dealers in towns where its the sticks basically.

+1

Selling like hotcakes is stretching it. There are people buying them at invoice and below. If they were selling for hotcakes, they'd command much more. Of course, it varies greatly by region, but my dealer had no problems selling to me at invoice, no haggling what so ever, which leads me to believe I probably could have chopped off another $500. I just can't stand haggling. From test drive to signing paperwork, I was in and out in about an hour.

agreed -- its definitely a regional thing. what ever you do -- DO NOT pay more than invoice. I probably spoke to around 15-20 dealerships will searching 4 the best price and a decent number of them where willing to sell at invoice. Once you start heading below invoice it starts getting difficult -- but still very possible. I have a deposit on my car right now and I was able to get the price down to just over $800 below invoice

invoice papers mean nothing, they are just as contrived as the sticker on the window. Car dealers are always 1 step ahead, and the factory will continue to play ball.

not really hotcakes. my speed3 was delivered to the dealer on 1-29-08 and i purchased it on 5-9-08 thats quite a while to be sitting around.

I was about to say 2.9 holy hell! Thats a great deal! I love my 2008 model, but I was not offered 2.9 even with a credit score of 820. So there must have been a mistake in the interest rate like you said.
