MAZDA FAMILIY R-4(BJ8W) 5MT 4WD in TAIWAN(ROC)

Taiwan is beatiful. I want to go sometime. Before I worked for a Mazda dealer, I sold Kymco, TGB, and PGO scooters. You guys have a lot of scooters there. So do you have a scooter to go with your Mazda, or just the Mazda for the family? :D

JPB-Pro5,
You do realize Tierra is just a protege with a different front/rear bumpers, head/tail lights? The only thing special about that car really is the seats. The headunit is nothing special to get worked up about. The engine output is most like because it's not hampered like our engine (no VTCS, not pre-cat).

Damn environmentalists.

Yes I realize that, and I love the seats, I wish ford would build there cars in the US more like this, It's also called the Laser in other countries, I really like the look of it, and I really love the 380+ HP one in the mag!! But thanks for making sure I get my info straight yo!(nuts)

Was that the stock setup for the spark-plug wires? It looks so clean, what happened in the U.S.? It's a mess under our hoods!!

You can do that too with 1.8 coil setup, NGK wires, & bust the coil plugs out of the wiring loom on top of vc then reroute them to the relocated coils. Of course you'll want the vc without the top mounting posts in the way of the plug wire boots or they'll need trimming to fit, which is ugly. Get the 626 vc from 2000-2002 so the cam sensor will be on it & the coil mounting posts won't be. That will be the hard piece to come by but not crazy hard. Just be patient & diligent.

Right on, thx! looks so much better, I've really been wanting the DGM engine cover to hide all the spaghetti! But this looks good too!

I like the stock look better than the 1.8 coilpacks. But honestly, if your under the hood enough to care what your spark plug wires look like, sounds like you have something more major to fix that you should be worried about. Unless you go to car shows or hang out in Wal-Mart parking lots with your hood open all the time, but then who cares about a Protege 2.0?

My car has 80k on it & I'm under there regular like to keep track of s*** & keep it clean. I agree with function over form but why not have both when possible? I actually have the MSP vc/eng cover so mine are covered anyway. Also have the 626 polished vc with untrimmed wire boots. Also have the oem setup. Yes, stock is fine.........& boring & if modding your ride as a hobby is something that you have time/money for & enjoy it then why the **** not? Yes it's just another alternative thing to personalize your ride with.....AND? And if something happens then there's free backup parts on site, switch & go. Some cars you do what you have to just to keep it working & others you do whatever you feel like & can afford to do to custom it up how you see fit. All cars all capable of being each.

**** Meanwhile......back to the badass awd P5. Interesting fabric on doors. More pics of the car please.

JPB-Pro5 there is no reason to get nasty. If you are looking for Ford to come out with an awesome car, I would look at the 2010 Fiesta! It's basicly the new Mazda 2 that we are probably not going to get. The most intersting part is it only weighs 2110 lbs!!! I think that car is going to be really interesting considering that very few if any other cars weigh that little except late 80's/early 90's imports and the Elise.

Wow that is amazing. What rear lip is that? Autoexe? Is your rear bumper the same as the USDM or the shorter JDM one?

Love the pics!
Thats a creative center console!

totally

i really like the fact that you have the majority (if not all) the interior electronics in a central location. i've seen some cars with a screen in one spot, a boost controller in another, radio in another...

very nice! :)
