Nope.
he can sleep with bruce?
That would make 4? That might be tight...... Do you have an air mattress?
I will bring one for me, if that helps
Marlon,
Thanks for the email we would definitely love for fellow Mazda owners to stop by and see us at the race. We love having the support of fans and would love to meet everyone. However, looking at the schedule honestly the best time to do this would be Friday afternoon around 3:30 or 4:00. Saturday is going to be hectic with practice and qualifying in the morning then only 2 and a half hours before we have to be lined up for the race. Then after the race we have to load up and leave fairly quickly to get back to the shop to get the cars back in shape for some testing before we go to Mosport then straight to Mid-Ohio. But please feel free to stop by the paddock anytime, and especially send Ray on Friday since by that point we will have a better idea of how things are going. Have him ask for either me or Rob.
Nic Cadenas of the NCRotaries club said that you will be having teams bring their cars over to your corral. This might be a possibility on Saturday. We will be bringing a third car, #61, which is not registered for the race. It is, however, our newest Grand-AM car. If things go well we might be able to bring it over with a crew person and a driver or two on Saturday around lunch time.
As far as our drivers are concerned, we have Andrew Carbonell, an 18 year old hot-shoe that is graduating from high school this weekend. His co-driver in the #63 car is Charles Espenlaub, a name you might know. In the #62 car we have Jamie Slone, who drove with us last year at Miller and now owns a Miller Mustang Challenge car. His co-driver is Chip Herr another name you might know. Both Charles and Chip are racing in other races this weekend and thus are going to be quite busy so I dont know when we might be able to get them over for autographs. Andrew and Jamie shouldnt be a problem, however.
We are keeping our fingers crossed and hoping everything goes well so that we can meet everyone!
Thank You,
Adam Whitener
Team Manager, ROAR Racing, Inc.
I'll be there with Hyper Sport this year working with the RX8 and the Mustang. Data Acquisition on the Mustang and General Mechanic stuff on both cars.
I hope to see some of you there.
Tell Ray Ray, we'll be there to help him with the gas! Nice finish @ VIR for you guys, looks like the program is coming along. Also, try to keep the tire rubber off of the header! (eek2)
Guys, we just got an email from ROAR racing and they drive an RX-8 in the Koni Challenge. I'm definitely taking you guys to meet with them later that Friday afternoon.
I got suckered into working the Grand-AM event for Lime Rock Park. If anyone needs anything or has problems (track related), please let me know. I'll be at Registration from 7AM-3PM all three days.
Also, I have one guest pass that I won't be using. If anyone has a friend they would like to bring along or hasn't yet bought a ticket, let me know.
Mel, if one of of the NEPOC members hasn't taken it yet, I could use it.
Thanks!
